This was just about as good a “mountain town” restaurant as I have ever been to. We had tacos, chile relleno, and their salsa was the best (A roasted tomato, slightly spicy blend; They should sell it in jars by the case!).

First off, we really enjoyed the fresh salsa! We had a veggie burrito with several types of veggies, crispy chicken taco, and chicken tostado. Liked the taco better than the tostado. Servings were large so we should have ordered less! Our server was pleasant and attentive even though they were very busy.

What beautiful scenery to be surrounded by when enjoying authentic Mexican food indoors and outdoors above downtown Idyllwild. It’s a nice 1 mile walk from the center of town but they also have plenty of parking there too.

This place is a cozy hole in the wall restaurant (used to be a home).

We ordered takeout at the restaurant. We enjoyed a drink outside while waiting. The food took a bit to prepare but the waitress was super kind and brought our daughter a Sprite.

Great little Mexican food restaurant and easy to get to. One of those old fashioned places that doesn’t try to reinvent Mexican food and you get a big plate of food. The chili rellenos are fantastic. Can’t wait for the patio to reopen.

Excellent service and food! Meatball soup and shrimp tacos were just like home-made. Can’t wait to go hike in the area and stop here again for cold beers and fabulous food/service. Highly recommend.
