Enjoying our day in Charlotte…my SIL wanted to come to Camp North End. While this is a cool little spot, there’s not many places to eat, however, we found this little GEM there! They had PUPUSAS!!! I was happy! We all had one and my daughter opted for the Empanadas. I will say the pupusas are DELICIOUS, the Curtido Slaw was not the best I’ve had; Still enjoyed my snack. My daughter liked the empanada she was just surprised by the eggs as we do not add eggs to our Empanadillas. Overall, great food…. Would definitely recommend and come back if we come to the area.

I definitely recommend this place, the Pupusas, tacos and Arepas are super delicious

Very small menu, def not authentic, they use cheddar on the arepa instead of a traditional cheese, the cheese was cold and wasn’t even melted, bland food, and the arepa was still doughy and undercooked on the inside. Staff was unattentive , not one sauce was offered or provided, arepas always come with pink or green sauce!! I make better arepas at home!

Located in the North End Complex this is a hole in the wall gem! In all of North Carolina, this is the only place where I have seen them do tacos Al Pastor the way they are suppose to be done, on a stand up Rotisserie with layers of onions & pineapples. Their tacos are very traditional. The Argentinian Empanadas are also traditional with meat and olives…..yes, olives inside. The pastry is the proper format and consistency. Only outdoor seating available but that’s ok. The ladies are very friendly and efficient. You want a Real Taco……this is the place!

We are back again! Delicious tacos and arepas with great service as well. I will definitely recommend to add more beer options.

So I was going to try this spot out because all of the amazing reviews from Instagram, To say the least the customer service was terrible, The young lady working the register look like she didn’t want to be there , as I was walking up to counter to place my order, I asked the young lady how is your day going so far, mind you I was super excited because I was looking forward to trying this spot out but homegirl wasn’t feeling it, she looked at me and was like Hi and roll her eyes and walked off. I’m big on energy and I definitely didn’t want her handling my food with this type of attitude.

Whoo hoo I found yet another spot that I will be visiting strictly for empanadas. Now I love me a good empanada.Best of all La Caseta is located in Camp north end food stalls so it’s always some sort of entertainment of some sort going on there for the most part .

Arepa bread was really good, but took forever to get a very simple order. I had to go to the counter and ask about it and then they started making it. Chicken filling was not to my taste at all and pork filling was really plain, just plain pulled pork and unrelated Cheddar cheese. Disappointing!

My wife and went here as we wanted a bit to eat while walking around Camp North End. The food was good yet a bit overpriced for what you got. Since multiple food options are next to it, you have to lock down a seat early and have some else order the food. Otherwise, you l’ll have to stand/walk and eat.
