Please stop setting all of your to go food on top of wet beans. Nothing is edible by the time I get home. Like the food but I don’t want to eat soggy tacos and quesadillas soaked in refried beans, covered in rice.

This is the best of all the Carretas/ LA Carretas. The food comes out quickly and we have never had any issues with food quality or lack of friendliness. Everything here tastes wonderful!

Came to Carretas for Margaritas, we always order the house Margaritas, but they just tasted different. Normally they are good but we found out they were premixed. They just didn’t taste good so we ordered the Organic Margaritas, what a difference!! But that’s where they get you, they are premixed so you will be disappointed and then you end up ordering the Organic which cost more because they are made fresh. We had a nice time sitting outside on the patio, the weather was nice and the wait staff was very helpful. Bring back the house Margaritas but have a different person make the mix, might make a difference in your revenue.

Has been our go to place for years… last night was very disappointing. Margaritas were 90% water, chips were stale, salsa was bland, guacamole was odd and just not edible, tacos were par… and I had to track down the server for our check to get out of there. The place was packed though, so maybe they’ve just gotten complacent bc if it ain’t broke don’t fix it I suppose… But we won’t be back anytime soon.

Good place to go for some good Mexican food located next to mandeville high school. Parking is a little weird with the one way jungle. Service was great and the patio is wonderul… just could use more shade without leaves dropping in you food.
