It was 3 p.m. On a Saturday afternoon, and we needed lunch. We picked this place off the map, and we could not have done better. I would give it more stars if I could!

Stopped for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, was greeted promptly, cozy little place with a simple but nice decor

Unique and diverse menu with the best Moroccan flair. The corned beef hash was well-seasoned and savory, very delectable with onions and potatoes. The whipped ricotta toast with honey was absolutely divine. The ricotta was so very fluffy and extraordinary to taste. Like the cherry on top, the staff here is so kind and generous with the entree and dessert portions. First time coming here, but will definitely be back soon

Weekend menu or usually? Not many options but all meals were very good!

September 2022: Nice quaint place with a cozy ambience. Comfortable seating. Great tasting good. Minimalist menu. Novel many items. Parking lot. Good service. Try the brie apple sandwich.

Visited this establishment just this week and oh my I’ll be coming back again! I had the mushroom omelette with goat crema and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I also met the owner and she’s absolutely wonderful. This cafe has a warm loving feel, love the local artists artwork that adorns the walls, and it just has the perfect ambiance. I had breakfast this time around, looking forward to trying dinner next time! Thank you for creating such a beautiful space in which to eat your fresh creations. Delicious

Great food, lovely presentation and fantastic waitstaff. Very pleasantly surprised, given the unassuming exterior. The banana waffles were outstanding. Our 7 year old was unimpressed with the French Toast bc it was too fancy, the adults loved it. The breakfast sandwich was ok, but the person who ordered it was disappointed after seeing the other plates. I missed a picture of the mushroom omelet, which was raved about. The unsweetened iced tea was refreshing with a fruity twist, similar to Cheesecake Factory. We will definitely plan to go back.

A fantastic place to have a meal with friends and relax, the atmosphere is inviting and friendly. Went for lunch and everyone enjoyed their meal from the mushroom soup to the salmon sandwich, and short rib sandwich, all delicious. Had to have the creme brulee for dessert and it also was one of the best I’ve ever had. Too bad I don’t live in the area I would go often and regularly. The waitress we had today was also super pleasant and efficient.

This is the fifth time we have dined at La Cannelle and it will be our last. I believe in supporting local businesses/restaurants and do so as often as I can. I should point out that I was a manager of a large restaurant in New York for over ten years. We arrived at 6:00 for dinner. There was one waitress on duty attending to both indoor and outdoor customers. Our order was taken at 6:25 and our first course was not served to us until 7:25. Our second course came at 8:00. My wife ordered the lobster/gnocchi , which was so over salted it was not edible. The other dishes, shrimp risotto and chicken aux champignons were, in the words of our two guests, tasty but nothing out of the ordinary and quite pricey. Added to all of this was the unbearable noise level of the restaurant. When the majority of tables are occupied it is almost impossible to have a conversation with your table partners. In short, a frustrating evening and given the check ($196.00 with tip) a rather pricey one.

Most of the experience was great. Staff super. Small place. A bit loud mushroom bisque excellent. The restaurant needs to offer gluten free bread and buns though. More salad dressing options. Some have a tough time with vinegar. My husband’s bacon was burnt to a crisp and potatoes diced on plate were too well done. Creme brulee was excellent.
