This place has a right to say “Authentic” and it’s an absolute gem! It says Bakery but they have amazing food! We moved here from Chicago and I was struggling to find our new Mexican spot in Lebanon and even Nashville. I had tried all the other places but they didn’t measure up. This place did. First, they use real Mexican cheese not like all the others places, they season the meat well and it’s not all fat. The price you pay for the quality and amount of food is very reasonable. We ordered pupusas with a side of asada (which are not technically Mexican food but still appreciate the variety) and they’re sooo good! We also ordered the bean and cheese and beef and potato empanadas and they were also delicious. They are willing to accommodate you in any way or if you have any special requests. Found out they also have a variety of caldos/soups, tamales etc. If you want to try authentic Mexican or something new aside from regular tacos, this is your place. I’m so happy I found it, this will definitely be our new Mexican spot!

My wife and I just started going here. It has a good selection of Mexican cakes, cookies, and pastries. The baker is a sweet Hispanic woman who does a great job. Everything is authentic, moist, and delicious. The only thing that would make it better is if they sold bolillos, too. Yum!

Wanted a quick bite but not a full meal. Had a pupusas chorizo w/cheese. Very good and the green sauce is good but the red hot sauce is outstanding. I will be back for seconds.

Everything I’ve tried here tastes amazing. Whether you’re in the mood something salty or something sweet La Canasta bakery has you covered. My favorite so far are the chicken gorditas and anything from the bakery side.
