Good atmosphere, decent prices, and getting chips and salsa before my meal is always a good way to make me feel welcome. My dinner was good, and I had a beer too, which I needed after being on the road for a long time. If 3.5 stars was an option, I would have done that. My reason for not giving it four stars is because I felt like my meal could have used more flavor. I got a tomato sauce versus a red Chile sauce, which I thought would have made it all delicious. Also, I noticed the guacamole did not seem to be made in the restaurant. Still, this was a good meal, and I’d recommend this place.

Plants Over Animals
The only reason we stopped by here was by the recommendation from someone while we were in town, they had a decent crowd of people here, we were seated in the very back. Was very surprised that with a bar here and lots of mixed drinks on the menu, when I asked for something specific I was told no. Our waiter got us tea and water, did make an appearance back to get our order and that was it. We had to wave him down to get extra napkins and never got refills on our drinks, I didn’t care for the nacho plate, hubby did like his mushroom plate and rice. I definitely won’t be back here.

Tried to charge me an $8 gratuity fee for dine in. When I asked what this was they said it was a tip towards the waiter. Not cool. He ended up taking it off after I kept asking questions. We had full intentions on tipping our waiter but why take it yourself? Rice was HARD. I couldn’t eat it and I am not a picky eater, nearly all the chips were broken, and this was our first time eating here after hearing wonderful things about this place! I point many people in the direction of this restaurant at my job, but no more.

Just spent $20 on a beef fajita and it was awful. All of the veggies and the beef were mixed together in a pan and looked like a brown blab.The beef seem tuff and chewy. It tasted like a cheap cut beef. Maybe a knuckle or ball tip or inside round..it definitely was not skirt or flapmeat. Chips hard, cheese dip was ok. Guacamole taste like it was a pre-made frozen product awful. Won’t be back.

Service was good and fast. Food was good. Not spectacular, but worth going back again. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes for a work day lunch. We ordered Chilli Poblanos, Churri Pollo (with and without mushrooms). The chicken on the Churri Pollo, actually was excellent!
