Just tried this place out on whim and am beyond please. I ordered take out. The place itself was very clean and nice looking. The staff was friendly and helpful. I’ve never had Costa Rican food before and this was absolutely delicious. I ordered el Costillon and it as amazing the rice was perfect and the yuca with red onions was awesome. I also got some dessert that I can’t remember the name of its a thing round disk that flaky and sweet. Would be awesome if I’d had some vanilla ice cream to go with it lol. I’ll definitely be going back to this place.

Ordered a chicken salad… Cabañera… my lettuce was drenched in water clumps of onion and red peppers… oranges were bitter… could not eat them… could not taste the dressing and my stomach hurts

The food was good. I wish I had tried more items on the menu. The staff was nice and welcoming. The area it was located in was kind of desolate but other than that I would definitely go back and try more items.

The food was pretty good. Some of the prices however are a little high. It’s $25 for Chuleton which is overpriced by at least $6. My main issue with this place is the fact that they don’t give you an itemized receipt then decide that is okay to include the gradutity automatically no matter how many people. I’m my case there were only two of us and they included an almost $8.00 gradutity charge on the bill without our knowledge. If you are going to try to scam your costumers by automatically adding a gradutity charge then you can at least have the courteousy to advise them that that’s what you are doing with the bill.

Their empanadas rellenos are sooooo good! Omg I ordered one of each. Cheese, chicken and beef. They add sliced romaine lettuce with mayo and ketchup sauce. I will definitely be ordering for lunch again today.

Some of the best mofongo I’ve had in the city. They have a plantain burger and that also was delicious. Order the quesadillas, you will not be disappointed. It’s a very low key place, hidden front the main road, with attached parking. I have to also mention that the service there is fantastic! The ladies there are so attentive and go above and beyond.
