First time there. It’s a very nice place and the food was really good. I do wish I could find a Mexican restaurant that offers flour chips as well as corn chips. Santiago’s in Porter is the only restaurant I’ve ever been to that serves both, but they’re closing down August 29th.

Great food and service. Good price for a lot of food. Had taco locos with 3 types of tacos. Steak, Spicy steak(my fave!!) and a carnitas. Came with American fixings, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese!!

Overall a wonderful restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service as a whole was great. There was no wait to be seated, and the food arrived very quickly. I ordered the carnitas la cabaña, and they did not disappoint. Delicious freshly made tortillas, sauteed onions and pork, rice, and beans. I would highly recommend this authentic Mexican restaurant

Good location the food is the same as the La Cabanas in Valparaiso In. This Location is a little bit more open the bar is set in the back on the left -there’s really no windows back there but its still a nice bar ( fancy basement bar style) It’s more of a dining room setting in this location very open but they’re utilizing their space very well. if you like the Valparaiso Cabanas you may not like this location but here at the portage location you will have less of a wait time. This restaurant is not only extremely clean but the Food, Drink and Service are great. The restaurant has a beautiful bar, amazing Margaritas and a wonderful selection of delicious food and dessert options. They also have daily specials and the food is fresh with generous portions, my favorite place!
