The food is good. The customer service is not. I had family in town and ordered a basket of 5 paninis delivered to my house. (Along with other food) 2 panini were supposed to have grilled chicken on them and they for some reason forgot to put it on the sandwiches. As we started eating the panini I realized and called the restaurant. The only response was they could deliver me the chicken that was missing from the sandwich? Not that they would remake the 2 incorrect the right way and bring it hot just deliver me grilled chicken on the side and wait for a cold panini? Very strange response. We order frequently and it was extremely disappointing.

La Bottega is probably one of the most underrated restaurants in long beach. The service is great. Elmer is a great waiter, he’s super friendly, nice, and attentive. The paninis are great to go food and so are the entrees have massive portions in the restaurant, great for sharing!

LOVE IT ALWAYS! It is so consistently good. The menu is great & everything is super fresh, made on the spot & delicious!! I have been going for years & have never been disappointed. I mostly go to the LB location but had the same positive experience when i went to Oceanside. It is reasonable & definitely a favorite dine in or takeout. Appropriate for couples, families & a friend group as well we used to have our staff lunches there. Try it!

Loved this special smaller Italian restaurant with great salads, soups, patinas on excellent choice of breads and very go I d authentically Italian food. Nice franchise owners. Have been going there since they opened. Always a great option for less hectic place with best special sandwiches and salads!

Everything was perfect despite their being extremely busy. We walked in, ordered, went for a walk, and the girl remembered us 20 minutes later even tho she had 10+ orders she was packaging up when we returned. We will be returning next time we are in Long Beach.

Must’ve changed management and I will never return. they individually taxed each item? 14.04 for a panini and 16.24 for a salad + a 7% NYS tax?? I ordered the Sal Salad and all I was given was strips of chicken cutlet (not even chopped up) over spinach with red onion (this is not at all the description of the salad) Dressing? GARLICY OIL. if they don’t have that salad, or the ingredients maybe they should consider telling the customer before having them pay $16+ for a meal that was inedible.
