This place is so cute! Our waiter was attentive and quick. Our food came out super quickly. I had the Ocean Salad. It was pretty good, but wasn’t blown away. Also had a peach pecan pastry that again was pretty good. I think I’ll enjoy the lunch and brunch food better, so looking forward to trying this place again. I’m also looking forward to when the weather is nice enough to be at their outdoor seating. A downfall right now is parking is limited. And, it did get pretty loud inside. All in all, would try again.

Lovely Tuesday night supper. We enjoyed sharing all the delicious rich food. The pate en croute and country pate needed some more seasoning. The mussels however were delicious. Sorry to add that it’s always a downer when you dine at a French restaurant and they charge for bread in my honest opinion.

I was so happy to discover more casual French dining that’s not located in Downtown! The building is very cute, and I love the flower boxes outside. My partner and I walked in with no reservations (oops) and we’re very kindly offered bar seats. We accepted, and our server came and took our order (I ordered the small charcuterie plate). Not only that, they were kind enough to offer me advice on how to get my lavender to grow better, like the lavender in their boxes. That was so incredibly sweet and thoughtful and honestly made my whole day. If you’re lucky enough to get Zach as your server, make sure you tip him well because he’s an absolute dream!

The vichyssoise, escargot, shrimp, and charcuterie were all delicious! The drinks were also good. I didn’t like the spicy vodka martini as much as I thought I would but the Manhattan was wonderful.

I can’t say enough about the delicious dinner we had tonight. A beautiful cafe and at dinner it is luxurious and welcoming all at once. The service was AWESOME and the food was even better. As if that wasn’t enough it was affordable also. We will be back and be regulars.

Omg! So cute! So Good!!! We sat outside- gorgeous day for lunch outside. They were packed I drove around the parking lot could not get a spot so I parked out on the street which was fine. Pretty much every single table was seated- weekday around 1230pm. We had Nolan as our server. Had a glass of French White wine & an Aperol Spritz. My friend ordered the smoked salmon & dill baguette w side salad & I ordered the tuna salad sand w side salad. (Choice of fries or salad) I seriously thought it was the best tuna sandwich I have ever had! It had egg & olives on it… so yummy, even the salad dressing was yummy! We were very pleased. Lunch was reasonably priced, nice portions.. They even sell local Cristophe chocolates inside.. can’t wait to go back & try the quiche- looked delish! They are closed on Mondays.

I should have eaten dessert first. Then I would have had more room for this delicious flourless chocolate cake. You can’t beat the lovely desserts here. The lunch I had- tuna sandwich and salad was very tasty. I love the atmosphere here and they are very nice but very busy. Charleston lunch places don’t usually require reservations but this one does because they have so much business. Make your reservation today.

INCREDIBLE. Beautiful cafe with extremely friendly staff. The pastries all looked so good it literally took me several minutes to order. As you can see the food didn’t last long enough for a photo. While I was there I learned that they are about to start brunch on weekends as well! The coffee was surprisingly smooth and that eclair was to die for. Will be back for sure

What better way to celebrate the closing on our new Charleston home than lunch at La Bonne Franquette in West Ashley
