Very tasty! Fun vibes with delicious food! Make sure to get the guacamole added as a side because it is AMAZING! The quesabirria tacos were tasty! Highly suggest getting the bodega box if you want a little bit of everything! The churros included in it are to die for!

Honestly not that great. I’ve had a lot better food in the area, but La Bodega isn’t necessarily bad either. It’s just underwhelming in my opinion. I tried their Ranchero burrito, the churros, and the horchata (rice based sweet drink).

One of my favorite authentic Mexican spots in Pittsburgh for a quick bite. The food is delicious and I love their decor. ❤️

The flavors are on point. I just wish that the steak and pork were more tender. It was like chewing on a rubber band. And the chips were stale. But, if they tenderize their meat more, I would give them 5 .

There was a SCREW in our nachos! They gave us a refund but I am still posting this advisory review to warn anyone who might consider eating here. Not only was there a screw in the food (choking and dental hazards) but the woman at the front couldn’t have been ruder or more disrespectful in addressing the massive mistake. Not their fault on this one but don’t go there at night, E Carson is a dangerous mess RN. Saw someone mugged and severely beaten on the ground in front of their location as I was leaving dissatisfied (It was a Saturday night, to be fair). Do not eat here!! See picture associated w post.

On a scale of romance novels and documentaries, La Bodega is the spiciest romance with fresh flavors.

This is a 100% legitimate amazing place for tacos. This competes with the best in Pittsburgh. They hand make their chorizo. It may be the best in Pittsburgh. I’ve tried taco spots in California. The chorizo either competes or is better than CA chorizo tacos. However, the only problem is that a single taco can cost at least $5, up to $5.50 max. Despite that, it’s definitely one of the better spots in Pittsburgh and totally worth it. I will definitely go back to this place!

Came in because I was at REI and was looking for something good around South Side. Glad I saw this on Maps because it is delicious, filling, authentic, and cheap!
