This was my husbands favorite place to eat when we lived in Aiea.

So delicious! We are visiting from Southern California and tried this place out. The meat was perfect- flavorful and no fat in it. The consommé was soooo good! We are leaving the island Sunday but will probably return once more before we go

Absolutely delicious birria style tacos! I’m so sad they no longer visit Kaka’ako on a regular basis.

I had the 3 taco plate and it didn’t disappoint. The meat was very tender and the consommé was delicious. We got there as soon as they opened and didn’t have to wait but the line does get long so plan accordingly. I only gave it four stars because location can be difficult, there are only a few picnic tables to eat at, and you may not have a place to sit. These are tacos you definitely don’t want to eat in your car! There were no trash cans available, so we had to take it with us. Also, I think adding a bit more cilantro and onion would have brightened up the tacos because the marinated beef and sauce can be a bit heavy and greasy.

Finally had a chance to sink my teeth into these birria tacos and they did not disappoint. We got an order of the regular tacos, Hell Fire tacos and the birria ramen. Loved the flavor and tenderness of the meat. Warning…the Hell Fire tacos are HOT but so good. As was the ramen. We’ll definitely be back again soon.

This truck is definitely the talk of the town these days so I had to check it out and see if it lives up to the hype. The line wasn’t to bad as we got there at 1105 because the truck sells out fairly quick and we didn’t want to miss out.

To start off…they broke change for my $100 so they’re already amazing in my book. But we’re here for the food!

Their birria tacos are delicious. They are crunchy, juicy and very well seasoned. In fact, they are the first birria tacos I’ve tried and I’ve loved them, I give them 5 stars for that. But I am giving it 3 stars because actually the price of the tacos seems quite expensive to me. My husband and I ordered the combo that brings 3 tacos, they cost $12.

So we kept hearing about this food truck and we finally decided to go try it after seeing a long lines. We ordered the mild tacos and hellfire tacos and a side of saimin. Well the tacos were very small; three itty bitty mild tacos for 12 bucks or two itty bitty hellfire tacos for 12 bucks. The taste was just ok, nothing special they were very oily or greasy. There was no cilantro. For the life of me I cannot understand why food truck food cost more than restaurant food and they have a tipping jar out. I really have a hard time understanding this new tipping culture where you tip everybody for everythingeverything. Don’t get me wrong the food is not horrible and I wouldn’t mind trying it again but not for these prices. Three tacos of this size should be around seven or eight bucks and two tacos should be around five bucks or four bucks. Over hyped.
