Great place! Great price! Service was amazing! We had a big group and they accommodated us right away! Everyone loved their dish! The red sauce on the wet burrito is very spicy! So if you don’t like spicy food, omit the sauce. I like spicy, but even this was too spicy for me. But it was still super delicious and very huge! The fish inside was the best part and there was a lot of fish! The decor was amazing! Their chips and salsa tastes so fresh! I would buy their salsa, it’s that good! We’ll definitely come back!

If you’re staying down on cannery Row, do yourself a favor and walk up three or four blocks to this place. It is much cheaper. The food is much better and the service is amazing. All the flavors were authentic and everything was cooked. Perfect. The tortillas were homemade.

Spent the day in Monterey. Had lunch at La Bahia Mexican restaraunt. I ordered a birria taco and shrimp taco. It was really good. First of all I love shrimp, the flavor and the sauce it came with was delicious. The birria was just as good. It was tender and juicy, not dry. Joe ordered the wet burrito. He said it was very good as well. We ate inside, recieved free chips and salsa before our meal. I like the salsa, it had good flavor and not too spicy. I will definately stop by here for lunch the next time we are in Monterey.

I have had Mexican food all over every city in the entire western United States and I can say for certain this is the best Mexican food I have ever had in my entire life. The largest and best burrito (for super super cheap) and some of the best birria tacos i’ve ever seen. i would give this place 6 stars if i could. RECOMMEND RECOMMEND!!!

This quaint taqueria packs a punch of flavors! I enjoyed the Jeezy Shrimp taco with chicken floutas. Mijo had a classic flour quesadilla and the homies enjoyed the carne asada nachos and quesabirria tacos. I’ll be back!

Best tacos/burritos I’ve had for a while (nothing will beat tacos from San Diego though) but this comes close to it. If you are in Monterey Bay and exploring I would recommend coming here for lunch. Fairly cheap and the customer service is really helpful!
