By far the best chicken and rice I have had. I will be a regular when I’m In the area. Chicken fell right off the bone, juicy and flavor of chicken and rice was amazing. Staff and owner very welcoming and you can see they enjoy being there! 10/10!

I had been having weekly deliveries since 2019 when it was called Higuey Restaurant. Last Wednesday I placed an order. I was so disappointed which was a 1st. I ordered pig feet and I received bones in sauce. I called to complain and was told that’s what was left. I explained I was a frequent customer $30-60 weekly . I asked to speak to person in charge. There was no one available. Another lady came to the phone and said she was sorry but I got an adequate amount. Wow. What ever happened to patient satisfaction? I paid for rice beans and bones. A customer for 4 years. Their response left a bad test in my mouth. I will be checking out other restaurants in the neighborhood. It’s a shame because the staff was always friendly.

Absolutely love this place! Great friendly service. The food is not too salty or greasy. Love their protein maniac smoothie and the natural juices are also delish as well as the soup. Ok I kinda love all their food lol. My favorite place to eat every time I’m in LI.

Ah 50 / 50 hit or miss well since I am Dominican and know good food. Up to 2 hours prior to closing forget it , like they don’t make fresh food I guess after 5 or 6 so close to closing your getting old food that has sat in that steam table . I do that instantly sick every time and I have tried this more then I can say. So be safe get your food before 6 pm from here. I just never give up.

Higuey Dominican Restaurant is the same as L.I Valle grill FOOD IS HORRIBLE PRICING IS EXTREMELY HIGH I DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL. Food is dry and sour ! And it sits there all day ! u better off getting a pizza slice across the street from them. Horrible horrible food.

I never had a bad experience until today . I love the food and everyone is always really friendly to me , but when I took a bite of my beef , I pulled a long dark hair from my mouth. I waited until no customers were around to let the girl know that there was hair , and I showed her the hair . All she said was “okay…” which is not really the response you expect when one of your customers go through something unpleasant like this .So I just ended up walking out because it doesn’t seem she cared. I frequented this place atleast once a week , and I’m really upset over this .

My husband and I have to drive 25min to this place but we still do for their simple yet tasty food. Love the Sancocho, goat stew, pulled pork, rice and etc. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. Our top 3 go-to restaurants in the area. Highly recommended!
