Potato salad is great and I believe they were the first to bring that flavor of potato salad to our area. It’s now offered at many other locations and even the local grocery store which leads me to believe it is a Sysco product. But for what ever reason it’s still the best in the area. If you like Mac and cheese LA B nails it.

My wife got the rib plate, and I got the chicken plate. The ribs had zero flavor, and were tough. The chicken was cold and the skin was rubbery. We both had cheesy potatoes, and they were definitely cheesy but not in the good way. We gave two stars for atmosphere and the baked beans were good. The girl taking our order seemed inconvenienced, not what you would expect from someone working the front counter. Now it’s clear why the place was empty during dinner time on a Saturday night. First and last visit for us after spending $47 on subpar food.

Had lunch here recently. Fantastic chopped pork BBQ, great baked beans, mac-n-cheese was a little dry, but cheesy. Good sauce options on the tables. We’ll be trying the ribs next time.

We’ve eaten here for years. They have a lunch plate of BBQ and two sides, priced near $10 and it can be purchased anytime of day. It is a generous serving of BBQ pork. Sides are typical baked beans, slaw, Mac n cheese + changing daily sides like green beans, collards, etc. Atmosphere is informal and friendly; varied sauces from sweet to really hot or white sauce are made on site. BBQ baked potato was two potatoes on plate and plenty of meat, could have been shared. They do a brisk takeout service including large sizes for a crowd.

Although they have great food I was treated horribly today by the manager of the store! After she was rude to me and my elderly father she went and talked to another worker as they were glaring at us! I’m literally afraid they tampered with our food because I commited the crime of throwing a cigarette butt out of my window! I spend way to much money at this place to be treated like dirt! How she acted towards me and my father is unexcusable! If she felt that strongly about a simple cigarette butt she could have asked me to pick it up which I would have done gladly! I’m not sure if I will eat this food I spent 60.65$ on today for fear it’s tainted!
