Loved my experience here tonight. My waitress was a gorgeous girl helping from the Sulphur location and she was so sweet and helpful. My partner and I stopped here as a spur of the moment thing, we originally went to sit near the hibachi, but it was a bit loud, so we sat in a quieter section. It was very peaceful and romantic. I had the calamari which was excellent. By the way, the octopus sashimi was so good omg, which I will say it has been my favorite octopus I’ve ever had so far. I originally ordered one plate but got a second because of how delicious it was. My boyfriend really enjoyed his hibachi, and the sushi was great. I used to come here a lot as a kid and I’m so glad to see it’s still running after all these years. Compliments to the chef at this has been my favorite seafood so far, and my waitress was so sweet I love her to death!! Those if you complaining that this is “2 star” food sound really entitled. What you get here is good for the price, and the environment is so lovely.

Salad was bland, expected more than rabbit munchies and dressing, beef and shrimp was ok, not much more to comment on… but the waiter did provide axequate service, kudos to dude who just started working at Kyoto…

Wth salad, only an iceberg lettuce pulled apart w/ some kinda teriyaki Ginger dressing; not what i expected of a dressing (wanted carrots, lemon, & ginger in the dressing). The udon noodles had very minimal amts of beef & about 3 shrimps all for over $17. Still sticker-shocked, but ate it as there were no other options available after the longggg wait 4 this CATA$TROPHE!!!

I would give a zero star, if I could! We went in to have an early dinner. We sat a private booth, not at the hibachi tables. Our food came and after having 3-4 bites, we found a German roach in our meat and veggies. When we showed the waiter, he already knew what was happening back there because he had the look on his face of “omg not again”……the owner/manager came to the table smiling and was apologetic, and stated that they had sprayed for the roaches last night. The restaurant shouldn’t have been opened while treatment was taking place or had been in place. Very disappointing and absolutely disgusting!

Love the food and the show. Great food one of my favorite places when I visit lake Charles come hungry because the portions are pretty generous. It is fun to watch the food being prepared on the habachi.

Went to Sulphur LA to buy food grade buckets from Will based on his Facebook Marketplace post. We decided to go have a bite of lunch, dropped $60 and it was 2.5 at best. Frozen Shumai?!? Need I say more? NOW, based on my next review of his other restaurant’s staff, it’s safe to say I will NEVER go to another Kyoto again.

My brought us here before heading back to Hammond. What a treat, server was extremely nice and attentive, food came out as it should appetizer, meal, dessert. Amazingly fresh fish and the sushi was on point. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quality sushi experience.

I definitely recommend eating the hibachi!! You cannot go wrong! Everything is delicious!! Don’t ask for saki when you have a preacher sitting around the table with you! I had no idea he was a preacher and he drank some thinking it was cooking ingredients and when he tasted it and realized it was in fact NOT a cooking liquid and that it was alcohol ‍♀️ OMG! He said “OOOOOHHHHH NNNOOOOOO” I seen the look on his wife’s face and knew that wasn’t right lol she said “he is a preacher and never had alcohol before!” Long story short I could have died laughing that night! Oh and it was Father’s day! That’s one we will never forget!

Delicious food, nice waiter, and beautiful decorations! It was a wonderful place to spend my birthday. My only complaint is they were out of the Japanese soda I wanted to try.
