Had a nice dinner at Kyoto, the food was great, but the portions were on the small side especially for the price. It is certainly expensive but it’s worth it for the quality of the food.

Great food. Awesome variety of dishes as well as friendly staff. Always got delivery from this place but came in person for once and wasn’t disappointed. By far my favorite sushi place on the north side

Always love coming to get some sushi and a nice miso soup. My boyfriend and I went here for our “K” restaurant for the A to Z Challenge. Love the Star Wars themed sushi rolls My boyfriend was a huge fan of them and was delighted to see such creatively named rolls. Was why I took him there in the first place, really lol

This was not authentic or even close to authentic at all. The quality of the fish was horrible and my rolls were falling apart when it came to the table. They use cream cheese as a filler for 50% of their rolls, which is always a red flag for unathentic sushi. I would really travel choose another place if youre in the mood for sushi

I loved this place a few years ago, a decade ago. We visited April 2023. The soft shelled crab in the Dragon Roll was overcooked. Rice was dry and too much in most of the rolls. The bathroom was clean but shabby. I hope they can bring it back!

Been here 10-12 times. I used to love it. Seems to have gone downhill. READ:

Best sushi in town! Can be different to find what’s on certain rolls. The inside seems like it’s a fast food joint but it’s absolutely more high class than that!

The food is excellent. The servers are a tad impatient, but who wouldn’t be when they’re so busy! Atmosphere? Meh. My face is too buried in the delicious sushi to notice the fake fish in the aquarium.

My friend and I used to really enjoy their food, but it’s just not as good as it used to be. I had vegetable soup, and while the veggies tasted fresh and crisp, the broth had a strong soapy taste. The two- shrimp tempura appetizer was barely a bite, and really had no flavor. Nice people and fast service, but they really need to season their food!

Sushi was fairly priced and affordable! Got the Salmon roll and Philadelphia roll as shown in pictures with my miso soup! Everything tasted fine the only thing that I could say was freshness. The cucumber in my sushi was very old and dry I could say? The miso soup had the lettuce in it and it tasted very old like it was left out of the fridge for over a day. The worker there was very tired considering it was the end of the day but all I asked for was an extra spoon and she turned away and sighed. It made me feel like I was a burden sitting there while the employees were watching me so I felt rushed to eat and leave. I don’t live close to this sushi shop but If I did I would probably just not order anything but sushi and never eat inside the restaurant again.
