Dined here late last night on 3/18/23. First time trying this restaurant. Service was great. Soy garlic & honey bone-in wings and garlic butter fried rice were the stand outs from what we ordered. One of the top fried chicken restaurants I’ve tried!

I was expecting top KFC but nope. The chicken tasted cheap, oily and not Crispy. The sauce is on point thou. It’s warm in inside and have this weird odor, smell like sewer. The floor is sticky, Got 2 orders, $40, it’s pricey for low quality. Cashier lady give me only 1 radish pack. I ask for another one and said no. That was weird, they really that cheap? I wouldn’t go here again for KFC experience. Bb.q chicken and Bonchon it is.

I had mentioned to my husband I want to try this place Kyochon as they now opened a location near us. This is the 2nd time we ordered. First time his lunch special took 30 mins. My husband enjoyed, it ok. Now yesterday on Valentine’s Day I told hubby I want to try it.. We arrived at 5.32 pm ordered the food large honey wings and large potato wedges, got the food at 6.12 pm. 40 mins this took seriously!!. This shouldn’t take that long.

Visited this location in Rowland heights in July. This Kyochon overcooked and dried out the fried chicken so bad, it was like jerky, complete joke and dishonor to Korean fried chicken. Service employees were polite at least.

So happy Kyochon is back! And again at Yes Plaza! I remember young teenage me having her socks blown off by some seriously spicy and addictive Korean fried chicken way back. Kyochon was my first experience with Korean fried chicken and I couldn’t for the life of me understand why they closed down. Now they are back on a big wave of Korean fried chicken fever hitting the SGV. I don’t know if they are ethe best in the game anymore, but the garlic soy I had was definitely solid.

I ordered the crispy rice chicken strip, the portion is pretty big, but they might used the frying oil too many times it tasted very oily. Ate one piece and could not withstand the old oil taste and smell. Threw away the whole thing. This chicken strip really tasted like and MUCH WORSE than frozen fried chicken strip you buy at grocery store. Not fresh and oily. I also ordered the chicken wing which was fresh but very oily as well.
