Kush by Stephens is the exciting combination of Florida’s oldest deli and Hialeah’s first cocktail bar. They offer classic deli-style sandwiches, such as hand-cut pastrami and corned beef, in an old-school meets new-school setting for dine-in, breakfast, and lunch, as well as catering for all events. The menu highlights deli-classics like Bubbie’s Matzoh Ball Soup, Kush Hospitality’s Chicken n’ Waffles, NY Style Deli Sandwiches, Bagel & Lox Platter, Reuben Sandwiches, and Egg Salad Sandwiches. Stephen’s original signage remains, and Henderson Junior Biggers, who’s been slicing meat for over 60 years, continues to carve the smoked meats. Hungry? Let us satisfy your appetite.

Went there to try the famous Frita burger, ranked as one of the 52 best burgers in the US. The place is a NY style deli, really nice ambient. The server was great, really nice and helpful. And now to the burger, the frita comes with a guava sauce that makes it a pinch sweet. Really original! Had to try it. The fries were really good too and the cheesecake was awesome.

All the Kush locations I’ve been to have been consistent with excellent service and delicious food, this one is no exception. Found it by accident while working nearby and didn’t realize I’d be also finding La Cocina which I’ve had saved on one of my lists for the longest. In case you don’t know they’re side by side connected by a hallway where the restrooms are located so cocktails on one side and a frita burger on the other…yeah buddy. Joseph, the waiter, was most personable and attentive as well as welcoming from the minute I stepped in. We talked for a while before ordering and he also introduced the gentleman behind the bar so it felt like we’d known each other for a while and I appreciate that level of service when waitstaff make you feel like a regular. The decor at this location has to be my favorite out of all the other ones especially the restrooms.

A friend of mine turned me on to this place recently. He’s a New Yorker and highly recommended it. The place didn’t disappoint. Their service is great and their food even better. I can’t wait to visit again

Food is great! Great atmosphere…very funny, very old school Miami. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Happy hour is available Monday to Friday….see picture of drink menu. Their “Pata Sucia” drink comes with a hilarious souvenir cup.

First time I’ve been to your restaurant. Hope you take this into consideration. I’m from New Jersey the hot pastrami sandwich and the coleslaw were good. The only thing you need to improve wish is something simple but would compliment the sandwich better is the pickle, it was stale no dill flavor and not crunchy. A good quality dill pickle will give you exactly what that sandwich needs a dill flavor with crunchiness.I Believe by serving a better quality dill pickle will make a big difference.Thank you, sincerely a new customer.

My coworkers and I got food from there. It was seven orders in total and everything was delicious. There was not a single complaint. Soup was 10/10, Reuben sandwich 10/10. Tuna melt 10/10. Spicy chicken sandwich 10/10. Everyone was so nice and hospitable. We will definitely be back!

I don’t know how to start with this place. Everything was over the top here: the furniture, the decorations, the local Hialeah vibe at every inch. As they describe themselves, it’s a NY style deli, and they don’t lie. The food is amazing and varied. Observing other customer I see that they must come here all the time and love it. I’ll definitely return and bring friends. In my first visit I ordered ‘The Rachel’ and ‘Latkas’. The sandwich was filled up with delicious hand cut pastrami and cole slaw. The mixture was great. As a side I chose potato salad which I loved. The latkas were a little greasy but good. They come with applesauce and sour cream, which seemed weird to me. I was expecting cream cheese, but the sour cream did not disappoint. I pushed everything down with a local beer called ‘Hialeah Light’ that tasted exactly as I wanted. I try the burgers next time, or any other crazy thing in the many. Glad I found this place.

While the location is a little out of the way from my home in Pinecrest, I was impressed by this amazingly cozy place. It’s like stepping into a time machine!
