This is a great spot to stop at for sushi! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the place is clean. The best thing is seeing all the various sushi options pass by on the rotating track!

We absolutely love Kura and we make sure to stop into one every time we are in a city with one! This location is great! It’s a bit smaller than others but that makes for a better experience. They have the robot waiters to deliver to your table which is always fun. The sushi is always good, they don’t mess around with that. Plus the non sushi options are plentiful and also delicious. The fun videos that play when you insert plates are always a treat. Do yourself a favor and visit. Just make sure to download the app and check in before, the wait can be long otherwise.

If you’re looking for a quick bite of sushi, this is it. The fish is super fresh. The conveyor belt help is always full of tasty plates of sushi. Service was super attentive. I have no complaints. Get the app and hop on the wait list for busy times.

They opened a few month ago. Apparently the chain is very popular in China. This is the first time we try Sichua dry pot. If you like spicy this is the place for you. We added tofu, corn and noodle to our order. The portion is big for two people, we did not have room for anything else. Will definitely go back try other dishes.

It’s a fun to watch the things spin around, don’t expect the most mind blowing sushi. Embrace variety, you’ll have a good time.

When seated at the first group of tables the conveyor arrives empty most of the time. Makes for a stressful meal, always waiting for something and nothing but empty plates come by. Also, the server made a horrible mess pouring our sakes and left it there. We put several napkins on the puddle and 3 times servers were at our table and didn’t pick up the mess until I finally asked them to. Close to home, decent sushi, won’t be back.

The wait is almost always really long around dinner time (~2 hours), especially on weekends. The food is decent for the price. If you’re craving for sushi but don’t want to pay outrageous prices for them then Kura is probably your best bet in SF. The atmosphere is casual and cute when it’s tidy and clean. The service is good (nice friendly staff) but you have to be patient most of the time.
