I think I come here more than any person in Davenport, I often get sushi to go 2 or 3 times a week. I am a big fan of the salmon roll, Jacks roll, eel roll, and lady butterfly. The service is fast and everyone is very polite, I love coming here. They certainly have a loyal returning customer, I don’t plan on going anywhere else any time soon. The price point I think is fair and the quality is always great. Come here

We have been dining at Kumo each time we’ve visited Davenport over the past 7 years and the food never disappoints. The food is clearly freshly made (the sushi is made at the counter near the dining tables) and tastes delicious. The service has been consistent over the years, the waiting staff have been great and the lady at the entrance always looks annoyed that you’ve come to the restaurant and stopped her from doing something else far more important – as this has happened every time we’ve visited, it adds to the charm and we wouldn’t want it any other way.

I’ve been here a few times alone and with family. The staff is respectful and attentive. It’s a small restaurant with a simple decor but it’s very peaceful and easy to have a conversation. The sushi plates come with huge flavorful cuts of fish unlike what I’ve seen at other sushi restaurants in the area. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The sushi was exquisite. Some pieces of the chicken in my dish were rubbery but the sauce made up for it. The Fried rice wasn’t the best tasting I’d had but it was good. Everyone else enjoyed their dishes for the most part.

Not only does this place send out great sushi, but this place truly cares about what they send out. When placing an order “to-go”, nowadays you have to check everything. If you don’t, you could end up in disappointment. BUT this place reminds you of your special requests, and that they are in your bag as they hand it to you!!! If you check(as I always do) they are there! That’s so appreciated that you can trust them on that. I’ve been going to this place for over 10 years. It’s a Family owned restaurant.
