Local general store and bar with restaurant. Established in 1926, the building is overflowing with nostalgic memories from years passed. Friendly staff with good service. Although they’re known for raw beef and onion sandwiches we did not try one. The jumbo pretzel is delish! Many weeks the bar has live music.

Went to see a friend’s band play, they were amazing! The space, on the other hand was very small and not designed to have a live band. We wanted to watch the band so we stood in a corner the whole night because there was barely any seating at all on that side of the bar. They also have a very long bar and only one bartender working, not planned well for a Saturday night. Appetizers were ok but I got very sick later in the evening.

I stopped here for nostalgia purposes. I frequented this place as a young child when it was a general store with a separate candy room; a child’s dream come true. The candy room is now an entrance to a bar which seems to be the main draw. The general store area is very quaint but the offerings are slim.
