I went to Kuba Kuba Dos with my family. The staff were friendly, the service was fast, and the food was delicious! Everyone in my family enjoyed their meal. I’m a super picky eater, but they were able to make accommodations for me. This restaurant rocks! The food is so yummy and everyone is very nice. Will definitely be coming here again!

The food was really fresh and delicious! We especially loved the emapanadillas. I can’t wait to try the other dishes the next time I visit. The service was also nice and the outdoor seating was great too!

The best Cuban food I have ever had in my life. Tastes like I am in Cuba! The food is amazing. Well prepared. Fresh ingredients. Great presentation! Aesthetically pleasing place and atmosphere. Love the music! I got almost everything off the menu. I highly recommend/suggest going out your comfort zone and getting something you’ve never had before. Kitchen staff is great, the non Spanish speaking server I had need a little more training and knowledge of the food, menu, and her job.

I have been going to the original Kuba Kuba since 2007. It’s always been a favorite of mine. This was our first visit to Kuba Kuba Dos since moving out of state…the food was great, the service was absolutely horrible! We were one of three tables in the restaurant. It took two hours to get drinks and food. It was absolutely ridiculous. The waiter took our drink order, didn’t discuss the specials or anything. It took fifteen minutes for water. We wanted straws, that took another ten minutes. We finished our water, asked for more, and placed our orders. The water was never refilled. Twenty-five minutes later, I got my adult beverage. The waiter brought our food and then didn’t check in on us until forty minutes later. We asked for to-go boxes and they simply walked off as I kept speaking as we wanted to order coffee and dessert. We waited…kept looking around. Our server was busy at the bar on their phone and chatting with the bar patrons. Finally the hostess came and asked us if we needed anything because my partner got up and stood at the end of the bar trying to get our waiters attention. We tipped accordingly. Seriously, I don’t believe that we will ever visit Kuba Kuba Dos again. Hopefully, the original is still on point!

I went here with my son for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. This is located tucked in a shopping mall, it’s a very cute vibe, cute atmosphere.

Kuna Kuba Dos is an excellent restaurant with delicious food. Unfortunately we have no pictures from our visit because we ate everything so fast. I had the braised pork shank which was absolutely delicious. My cousin had the Cuban roast pork which she dreams about regularly. The people sizes are generous and the quality of the food and service are top notch!

Would have been a 5 star experience if we didn’t have to ask for a waiter to take our drink and entree orders after 15 minute wait. The food was what I’d expect after frequenting the other Kuba Kuba. Highly recommend the rum punch.

Food was slightly bland, and bartender was tending other duties. The people were friendly, and food decent.

As much as I love the original Kuba Kuba in the Fan, I prefer the larger dining room and plenty of parking at the Kuba Kuba Dos. Same great menu and friendly service. If this is your first visit, you should definitely try the Cuban Sandwich. It is the best in Richmond. I also really enjoyed the Empanadillas (with beef), it was delicious. I was disappointed with Braised Pork Shank. It was overpriced. The meat was very tender, but lacked flavor. My husband ordered the Roast Pork Omelet, it was filled with pork and the egg looked fluffy. He said the omelet would be perfect if they put some seasoning in the egg. If you are a coffee lover, I recommend a shot of Cortadito (espresso with a splash of steamed milk).
