Krystal gets pulled out of the hat at work for a place to eat from time to time, but with this store, its hit or mis. Sometimes the buns are steamed perfectly. Other times, just cold. Since it’s that steamed bun that makes the Krystal burger so good, it’s a real let down when you reach in the sack and the bun feels like it just came out of the plastic bag, however, knowing that the odds are 50/50 we still roll the dice. The last visit, we lost.

Krystals used to be the budget meal. Go get a few burgers and a fry for a decent cost. Recently my daughter volunteered to buy Krystals for 4 people. I drive her down and she orders a steamerpack – 24 burgers. Thats $29 for 24 Hawaiian roll sized burgers. Then they asked if we wanted cheese. $10 extra for 24 slices of cheese. This is double the RETAIL cost for a pack of 24 kraft singles. But yeah, she told everyone she would buy with cheese, so she said okay. When she added some fries, it was well over $60. The guy at the window repeated the price 3 times, asking if that was okay. Even HE thought it was a ripoff.

I should have know by the fact it was the only restaurant without any customers that I had made a bad choice. I asked for no onions which I was told it’s already cooked with onions so we just scrap them off. Okay and to spite the rude employee I hoped that the food would at least be edible but it really wasn’t I’m not sure what the weird taste was but this has to be the worst fast food place in Woodstock .

Krystal more often than not will mot allow customers to go inside. I grew up on Krystal and the experience has fallen to a place of inconvenience, employees loitering in the dining area, more engaged with each other than paying customers…. if you can get inside that is. Pitiful that this landmark establishment has fallen into the level of poverty and disregard. Sad

Ordered in the app and it said the food would be ready in 16 minutes got to the restaurant and waited until it said it’d be ready. Got in the drive thru and waited for 10 minutes for someone to answer the speaker which they didn’t so we pulled around to the window where we waited another 5 minutes for the order in front of us went. Then when we finally got to the window was told it would be about 10 minutes to pull around to the front. I’ve been out here for 15 minutes currently. My order was 30ish bucks and waited 45 minutes. Was missing a couple things went back in and they solved it just fine. The customer service was great but the wait was atrocious. The food came out hot and made well so far but they weren’t busy enough to warrant a wait that long.

I managed a Waffle House several years ago and it was spotless I walked into this Krystal for the 1st time and it was disgusting. The floors hadn’t been swept nor the table wiped down. There was leftover food on the counter. The floor in the kitchen had fries and burgers on the floor. The drink machine drainage thing was filled with water and wasn’t draining.
