Another happen chance find in Downtown Lawrence. On a ravishing recommendation from a customer who was leaving the restaurant. We entered – ordered the Seafood platter and hush puppies. Hush puppies were great, just the right amount of crunch and soft inside. Our main course arrived. We selected the Cajun spice. Corn on the cob, two sets of crab legs, two sausages, two eggs and plenty of shrimp and potatoes marinated in a oh so good broth. We devored most of it before crying uncle. We’re already plotting our next return. Staff Daniel (sister of owner),was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. It’s not high end, but the food certainly hits all the marks.

Staff were super friendly, food was fairly quick. Tvs were super loud.hush puppies were really good but small an definitely not worth 4.99 for 6 when you’re spending $100 for 2 people. Fish was tasty but a little over cooked. Crab, sausage, egg, corn, shrimp and potatoes were all good. But a crab cracker would have been nice. It was good but not great.

I was reluctant to try this place, but my KU kid wanted seafood for his birthday and hates fancy digs. This was great. Food was delicious, they had fun frozen cocktails, and we enjoyed a low key family dinner. Will definately go again.

Myself & My daughter have been wanting to try this place for about a year now and finally made the trip. It was everything we expected and so much more. We will most definitely return and recommend it to everyone we know. The portions are huge and the service was fast & friendly. The lunch prices are very affordable. Have Been looking for a great seafood restaurant since Joe’s Crabshack closed, this one is amazing!
