Really good food. Beautiful outdoor patio. Dog friendly. Molly was very good waitress, she was upbeat and helpful. Try the special on Sunday, Which is a burger, fries, beer or a soda for $10.99 terrific deal. Food is great. Get there early on Sunday, it gets very busy. Request the patio early especially on Beautiful weather. Definitely be back here. Awesome view of downtown Rochester and beautiful view of Paint Creek. Very reasonable prices.

Love the vibe here. The food is great, just like at their other locations. I love that they have oysters here – they’re some of the best/most fresh in the area. Nick is an awesome waiter/bartender, we have had him several times & he always takes great care of us. We aren’t “shot” people, but every time we come here we have to get a Superman shot – they’re awesome & this was the first place we’d ever tried them. The indoor seating areas are nice & the outdoor seating is amazing by the creek!

My husband and another couple joined us at the Paint Creek Tavern on Monday 8/21/23. We met up for dinner and dined inside. Our server was very attentive and friendly and made sure we had plenty of drinks during our entire meal, which was great. No issues with that. Only complaint was it was freezing in the restaurant and even though we had sweaters with us, we shivered throughout our entire meal. It was too muggy to sit outside so this put a bit of a damper on the enjoyment of our night. The food was delicious though and we all enjoyed our meals. 3 fish and chips and a chicken and fries. All very pleased with dinner but too cold to stay for dessert. A shame really as we hadn’t seen each other in a long time and we’d have liked to have made it a longer evening.

It’s ok, chicken doesn’t look freshly made. Looks and tastes so dry. Expected little more for the price but disappointed with the taste of the food. Ambience is great for summer get a ways.

Came here for the first time with my family for a birthday. There was a 25 minute wait but it was peak dinner time on a Saturday night downtown Rochester. We all ordered some drinks and the fish and chips. Some had perch, some had walleye. We also got the side of Taki Mac N Cheese. The food was excellent and the drinks were even better. I had a couple of the Michigan Cherry Coolers and I would highly recommend if you like cherry flavored beverages. The service was prompt and our server was very accommodating and friendly. This is a perfect place to go if you’re looking for that outside dining vibe. I would recommend this place for small or large groups. Definitely coming back!

Food was good and didn’t take long to be delivered. Service was also good. Most entrees come with chips so be sure to upgrade to their fries, which I really enjoyed. A bit disappointed in the lack of selection for non-alcoholic beers as there is only 1 option.

I was so excited to see old friends that I never took any pictures of the interior or of the food. But Kruse Paint Creek Tavern was wonderful place for friends to meet. My only regret is that we didn’t sit out on the back patio. Our friend thought it would be too hot and noisy out there, and we paid a quick visit to look around and it would have been perfect on a perfect summer evening
