Great food and fantastic service. My german lunch was delicious – and her cajun omelette with french toast was also tasty, specifically the spicier sausage. Dessert also recommended, specifically the caramel roll and strawberry rhubarb pie.

If you don’t get anything else from this review, listen to this: GET THE CINNAMON ROLL PANCAKE! It is life changing!! Seriously, the best pancake I’ve ever had. I also recommend the Country Fried Steak skillet. Very savory. Nice friendly service in an environment that reminds me of home (Charlotte, NC). I would spend significant time here if I lived up here.

This is a diamond in the rough. When I saw it driving to the Abraham Lincoln state park I was unsure. We were hungry and the ranger at the park recommended it.. We gave it a try. Many of the menu items were things I had never heard of and could not pronounce.. But I was very happy with the food, staff and generally the entire experience. Highly recommended.
