Over the years I’ve heard a lot of good things about Krispy Krunchy chicken so I finally decided to try it. The thick cut seasoned french fries that come with the chicken are outstanding. The chicken is pretty good but did not blow my mind. I also tried the fried fish which was actually quite good and would order it again. The fried shrimp that I ordered had a sweet taste to it that I did not particularly like. The upside is that most gas stations don’t really have hot food, so this really hits the spot.

This is so tasty n crunchy Halal fried chicken in the area, better than other chains. Got 8 pieces chicken 2 times with different sides n both times chicken was tender inside and crunchy from outside. Flavor n spices are so good and balanced. Will definitely go back again, recommend to everyone who is a big fan of fried chicken, and its HALAL!

I have eaten at different Krispy Krunchy Chicken places. This one was the worst. I ordered 2 small Mac n cheese, 4 piece Cajun chicken tenders. The guy serving only gave me one Mac n cheese. No problem, I just asked for another. The cashier even told him 2. The chicken tenders were so dry, it was hard to choke them down. He had to make more Mac n cheese. It was only 1:00pm. I think he needs more training. Others that we eat at are great. They always have plenty of fresh food.

Go to the in San Leandro or Hayward (23990 Hesperian). The workers here did not wear masks or gloves. There’s no sauce with the order… but worst of all, something is off about the chicken. Tastes like it’s been deep fried in reused oil that’s been unchanged for months. Overly salty too.
