Food taste great, chicken on the stick was a nice size,,but only had about 4 small pieces of chicken. Atmosphere was not all that great because the floor and baseboards were super dirty. And the store got ran into over half a year ago and there is piles of glass under the food warmer. And if you are a cheap person, this ain’t the place for you. T and t kitchen on YouTube.

I went by due to the fact the chicken was halal. The food was good, but there are some items on the menu that have pork. So it is not a halal restaurant but the chicken is halal. But over all my experience was average. It wasn’t as the people make it out to be….

I ordered a 16p family meal and mashed potatoes. 39.99 plus asked for fresh chicken. I waited 45 minutes just to get served some chicken in the warmer. I’m a cook myself and keep a cooking temperature and if I had hot and fresh chicken the temp would have been over 165° but it’s 143° meaning that it’s fresh out of the warmer not grease. Y’all need to watch this people because after confronting them about giving old chicken they took the chicken back in the back and still didn’t give me fresh chicken. I’m not eating here again. I’m still waiting for my refund you told me I would receive.

They always cook meals to order. If you need a quick box lunch they always have prepared food to go. The chicken is always crispy and tasty. The sides are well portioned and tasty as well. If you like fried chicken, gizzards, or livers, you’ll enjoy your meal.

Let me just start with- I’m not a picky person. I’ll eat about anything that is on a plate. My biscuits were ooey and gooey in the middle. I didn’t receive my mashed potatoes. I worked in fast food for awhile. It is not hard to look at the screen & check before you say an order is done. The red beans and rice were so gritty and watery it made me want to throw up. The chicken was fine, but everything else just made me sick. I’m never going to eat from here again.

I called for a to-go order. Person over the phone said about 20 minutes and the food will be ready. When I arrived, I had to wait ANOTHER 30 minutes for the food. What’s the point of calling in if they won’t stick to it? The staff was not helpful.

This was our first time here, so we came in without an opinion or any preconceived notions. We got take out that was freshly fried. While it was good, it wasn’t KFC or Popeyes, it is unique in and of itself with a different flavor, closer to homestyle fried chicken. Since this place is take out only, it is really not fair to give it a rating.
