First, I want to recommend going for the plate option when checking this place out. We’ve been a few times and the basket option is okay but the plates are INCREDIBLE. We make sure to check the social media page that the plate option is available that day before going. One plate is enough to share between two people and everything is absolutely delicious. It comes with a few sides, a dessert, and a drink. Out of all the main dishes we’ve tried the fried chicken is our favorite. It’s crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. Honestly, the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. All of the sides are homemade with the plate option and I’ve eaten some of the best food I’ve ever tried coming to this place. My husband agrees. Things we didn’t think we would care for we ended up loving. They are so sweet to our kiddos when we go, giving them a lollipop as soon as we walk up. Last time we went the owner gave my girl a juice box and when she noticed we had our baby with us gave him a juice box, too! I truly hope that this place never disappears.

This food is literally amazing! The customer service is beyond top notch! These ladies know how to make you feel right at home and fill your plate every time! One plate nearly fed my family of three! You can’t go wrong with anything on this menu, from the fried pork ribs and collard greens to the snowballs. Everything hits just right. They have made a permanent customer out my family.

Me and my roommate walked up to this place to grab dinner last night, and were extremely impressed with how nice All the staff here were. They explained the menu and even gave us a couple free samples while we waited for our food.

The Woman working was very sweet and grateful for us coming to her stand but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll Be back. $20 for chicken meal and you only get one piece of chicken and maybe a handful of tater tots and a small slice of cake. Meal comes with a drink but since we wanted a Dr Pepper and sprites I had to Pay an extra 1.25 each for a can of soda. The chicken did taste very good but if I’m paying $80+ to feed my family of 4 my family shouldn’t still be hungry when the meal is over.

I’m leaving two stars as the people are very nice and the food was not terrible. However, we are very confused as to how this place has all 5 star reviews. Our first issue is they don’t have an actual menu with prices for their lunch menu. Secondly, we paid $37 for two of their baskets, one fried chicken with fries and a Winco croissant, the other was fried chicken wings with fries and a croissant. We had asked for just wings and a soda but realized later that we were charged for a second basket. Apparently they don’t have their full lunch menu on weekends? Doesn’t make sense to me. Thirdly, the chicken was cooked really well, but other than that it wasn’t great. Flavor wasn’t our favorite, small portion of fries considering the price. Asked for hot sauce and we got about a tablespoon.

She said the Snowball with cream would change my life, she wasn’t wrong! She has over 20 flavors, it the best shaved ice I have ever had. The catfish wash delicious, the fries tasty. She is definitely doing it right!
