We were visiting from out of state and I love trying local burger restaurants. They were very good and I would stop here again. Custard and milkshake were very good as well. Doesn’t best Culver’s, but it’s a decent stop if there are no Culver’s around 😉

First timer. Great burgers as promised. The fries were crinkle-cut and some of my favorite. Large portions of fries, suggest splitting them. The staff was friendly and gave me a pup cup for my puppy.

LOVE the new location. It is so clean, bright and spacious. The food was good. Initially, I was dismayed to see them relocate from the Woodmound Plaza, as they were right down the street from me, but I totally understood, because the area has gotten quite bad throughout the years, and I always felt concerned for their young staff. My hb and I have been to the new location once, thus far, and were VERY impressed.

It was average, in my opinion. There is nothing extra special about it. And I’m sorry, but $30+ dollars for 2 people to eat some smash burgers is not worth it to me. And .99 cents for extra condiments that should be offered for free except the cheese and bacon couldn’t be any more ridiculous. We could have gone next door to steak and shake and gotten the same thing with all the condiment fixings for the amount we spent there. With a chili Mac milkshake and 2 desserts for that price. But I was told the burgers were “out of this world delicious.” The fact I had to eat the same crinkle fries that are sold at save a lot that are generic was beyond an insult to my pallet, and appetite is even more beyond ridiculous. Muchless the burger burnt, the tops and tongues of our mouths made it even more difficult to taste the actual burger. McDonald’s has better fries than the save a lot crinkle fries they serve there. I’ve been to many burger shops in 38 states and have never been as misled, such as this recommendation for a burger place. Needless to say, I don’t think I will ever return to crinkles again unless it’s free and someone else is paying. Steak and Shake have better food and more for your meal, appatite, and bucks. I don’t think I’ve ever stepped foot into a more underwhelming burger restaurant in my life. I could make a better smash burger than what they served us, with my eyes shut and 1 tied behind my back. And unless they send a free meal or gift card, I will publicly tell anyone about this overwhelmingly disappointing restaurant. For a delicious burger, try the burger shack in Casey Illinois or grubeez in Davenport Iowa. Blows Crinkles out of this atmosphere and orbit.

Food and staff were great! The place was very clean, but man, please turn on the AC. A thermostat in the building read 83 degrees during lunch service, and the building was packed.
