Good quality, friendly service. It is hard to find a place that offers decent quality sashimi at these prices. They have a 40 piece for $70. It is not a fancy place, but it is solid and clean and friendly. Closes kind of early at 9pm. Great neighborhood place ! Clean bathrooms. No fish smell n or around restaurant.

Koyomi is our go-to Japanese restaurant in Castro Valley. This is actually another gem in our small town. I have to admit, I ignored this place for a long time because we have other favorite

Food is average. Nothing memorable or outstanding that you have to go back. Lunch Specials are only during Tu – Fri only 11 – 2:30. Portions are decent. Prices are reasonable. Service is quick and efficient.

Ingredients were fresh and the good came out pretty quickly. My have had one of the bento boxes and enjoyed it. I had the sushi and it was very fresh.

Delicious Japanese cuisine! Sushi is wonderful. Friendly attentive service! Handicap Assessible. Limited parking in the rear but plenty of street parking. Nice atmosphere and very clean facility.

Solid, family oriented sushi place with lots of selections, and a sushi and sashimi menu that has over 100 items. This is not where I go for a romantic dinner, but this is where I bring the family! Nice people too

The menu is extensive and very interesting. They have a huge range of appetizers and a very creative range of rolls. I had the tako-yaki (octopus balls), ebi nigiri, hotategai nigiri, and the habane roll (habanero-spiced!). All were excellent. Very friendly service too.
