Kountry Kupboard is a great little diner in the Walhalla/West Union area. I have yet to try their lunch, but their breakfast is great! Super reasonable prices! I would skip waffle house every single time and head to Kountry Kupboard instead, if they just served breakfast later. Google says they serve it all day, but they only serve it until 10am. Their pancakes are so good!!

Food was good even though they were out of a lot of things even bread. But the service wasn’t good at all. Waitress acted like she was in a hurry to do anything but her job. I had to go to the counter for ketchup for my meatloaf and then she literally stood there ignoring me while she was prepping things to close even though we were there an hour before closing time. A different waitress refilled our drinks or we would have never gotten more. Take away: if you can’t pretend at least to be thankful you have a job and want to be there, then GO HOME. You aren’t just making yourself look bad, but the restaurant that is depending on you to serve the customers and make them want to come back.

A great little Kountry Place! They’ve got 1 meat & 3 sides! Or 2 sides. Also, cheeseburgers & fries! Fried chicken is GREAT TO!! HOMESTYLE GREENBEANS. THE ONES THAT LOOK LIKE THE OLD BIG FAT GREEN BEANS. LOL. JUICY. HUBBY GOT HAMBURGER STEAK WIT CHEESE & BROWN GRAVY!! ID HIGHLY RECOMMEND! THIS PLACE!!

Stopped in right before the closed for the day on Saturday and was highly impressed with their friendly service. The pancakes were very fluffy and very tasty. Everything hit the spot and make the trip in that part of the country worthwhile.
