This location is a temporary carry out so I can’t comment on the location. The food was just ok it was not the home flavor we were looking for, the ribs seem like they were baked not smoked or from the grill. In my opinion if they are going to do a carry out only for while they should be kind and give us utensils to eat with not all are local some are first time visitors. The service was great everyone was really kind and nice to us. Thanks

I was very excited to try this place. I’ve heard nothing but great things about it!!! The food was delicious…and I found out later that the original place had caught fire and this was a temporary location. Ok, I truly wish I would’ve known that before I ventured across town to dine here. Long story short, I was really wanting a place to sit down and enjoy my food before I got back on the road. But unfortunately their temporary location didnt allow for this eating option. Also i had to wait close to an hour to receive my food. Those 2 reasons where the only reasons why I took off a star. The food was delicious, and the staff was very attentive and apologetic about my wait.

Pork chop meal was soggy and real thin. Their pork chops used to taste like good fried pork chops. Not anymore. Their batter tastes different. Their mac & cheese is disgusting. The cabbage was just ok. Fried corn was really good. Their lemonade/tea mix is also really good. I finally got a piece of cornbread that wasn’t hard as a brick.

I never received my food despite spending $54.37. They used a third party to deliver it. However, no food, no driver. Yet they say they delivered it but didn’t. I will never order through Chow Now ever again.

This is a temporary location the food was ok. My husband wanted bbq ribs and they taste baked not grilled my meat loaf tasted like it was frozen then thawed. It was ok but we didn’t like it as much as others have raved about. They didn’t give us utensils either makes no sense as they are a carry out only. Not all live in Indy we were upset, as we had to stop and buy them. The people were really nice.

Omg dressing nasty, quarter leg no seasoning, macaroni dry nasty and not cooked all the way, mash potatoes DNT like as well. I haven’t even touched the smothered pork chop ♀️ and the greens r good that’s the only thing . Y’all r not the same and shouldn’t be sending no food out tasting like this for all the money I just paid y’all

Easter Sunday wanting a decent “Sunday Dinner” yet disappointment set in upon opening my order. The Fried Perch 2 Pc was missing. (this is a $12 item that Caplingers only charges $1.50 a piece for) The food provided was the Children’s Platter with green beans and macaroni with cheese. The dasher somehow mishandled the food and the mac and cheese were mixed with green beans. However, the fried chicken wings were delicious! Always full of flavor and fried to perfection.

Ordered Seafood combo. The shrimp were over cooked and tasted like salty rubber. No cocktail sent with order. The macaroni and cheese was unimpressive. Tasted like leftovers reheated. The fish was okay. The saving grace was the nicely seasoned, very tasty, hot fried okra.
