I have patronized Kountry Kitchen several times, and have had good food with generous portions, and good service every time I visited. The prices are very fair and I have never been disappointed with anything when I visited this establishment. I look forward to eating there anytime I’m in Morehead City and want a good meal. I would eagerly recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a good southern home cooked meal, and definitely check out the daily specials that they offer.

While visiting Newport NC, celebrating our Anniversary. We decided to visit Kountry Kitchen instead of cooking. It was great idea. We were greeted by friendly staff. The food was delicious. We asked a waitress to take our picture and she went above and beyond to make sure we got good pictures. Someone in the restaurant heard that it was our anniversary and paid for our breakfast. We will make sure to pay forward for our blessing. We visit again. Thanks!!

Let me tell you something, this breakfast was fantastic! They hit every mark. We had breakfast for our lunch, 12:30pm, honestly wasn’t expecting anything special. We absolutely loved the flavors and textures. Ordered eggs over-medium, they were 100% perfect.

Kountry kitchen is just a wonderful restaurant for breakfast! For the record I have never had lunch here. So all three experiences in the last two years have been for breakfast. I’ve had the corn beef hash eggs with hashbrowns and in my mind for the price you cannot beat it! Service is fast and friendly! If you’re in the area and looking for fast good breakfast at a reasonable price this is the restaurant do you want to check out! Plenty of parking you can’t go wrong again the pricing just amazes me and how reasonable they are. I highly recommend the country kitchen for breakfast. Someday I plan on eating there for lunch seems like they’ve got some great specials and I cannot wait to try them! From the crowd during breakfast I can’t imagine that lunch specials and lunch service would disappoint. Check them out for breakfast and I’ll let you know my review the next time I join them for lunch! The other thing is the cool country style decorations!

I love a good breakfast place, but this was not that good. I asked for soft scrambled eggs but it was overcooked. The hash browns were overcooked on the outer layer and not completely cooked under that layer. The toast had a plop of butter on each piece. The toast must have not been hot as the butter would not melt. It tasted more like butter than toast.

Good country style cooking with large portions. Reasonably priced too. The food is so good that we always have about 30 minute wait to get a table…and it’s well worth the wait. Note: they are now accept credit cards with a 4% surcharge.

We had breakfast here. I had the scrambled eggs, bacon, grits and biscuit with the sausage gravy. That gravy was delicious! The biscuit was huge. I left fat and happy. Will definitely be back.
