A simple no frills hole in the wall deli with simple food, and large portions. They stick to the absolute basics and do it well. A triple threat shiner is pricey and not particularly healthy but if you eat that you are good for the day. Service tends to be pretty good when they aren’t crowded. You have to cut them some slack at night because the place is next to 50 bars and tends to be packed full of drunk college kids.

Literally my favorite lunch/dinner selection in Burlington. Variety of foods, great customer service, fair prices and reasonable hours for a take-out only restaurant. DO CALL AHEAD! They’re always busy, so save yourself the wait at the front and order over the phone 15-20 minutes in advance. I support this local business regularly.

The only reason it looks scrunched is because I got it to go. Amazing! Friendly helpful service. I will definitely be back to try some more of their “Rise and Shiners” in the future. It’s definitely a spot where locals go because of the quality and fair prices. A real hidden gem amongst all the tourist spots near by which are usually super over priced
