The only sushi in town and it is quite good but this is definitely a take out restaurant. Service is quick and orders accurate. Athough they have a couple of tables, it is not enjoyable for dining in and even if you do, your order is made to go and you have to take your garbage to the outside trash can. Not super inviting but good food.

Always look forward to Koto when I’m visiting my parents on the Peninsula! Delicious and fresh sushi with a good variety and large menu plus combo meal options for those not wanting sushi. Always service with a smile and a pleasant dining experience with complimentary tea too!

My pork teriyaki was great; I liked it! The salad was good too. However, the noodles are not great. Pricey but almost tasteless. You can taste that it’s spicy and the other flavors are not quite there. Kinda like paying for the meat and veges only. My boyfriend said it used to be much better a long time ago.

Ordered Mongolian beef no stars and a 3 star one. The no star one was beef and onions stir fried in oil. NO MONGOLIAN SAUCE whatsoever! The 3 star just had Chile paste stirred in. Very unflavorfull. They used to servie it with a dark Mongolian sauce…no more, and last time for me.

Not many choices in Sequim for Japanese food, this is typical fast food take out in styrofoam. Ordering online for pickup is recommended, ordering at the counter can be slow by comparison. Tempura was more like fish and chips batter than Japanese tempura.

I gave 5 star because this place is awesome 90% of the time. Today was one of the rare occasions not so great. Hopefully the owners see this. Sushi’s were rolled too loosely to use chop sticks. Second time recently but we will return. The new brown togo containers today also stick to the rolls. Maybe consider something underneath them. We had to scoop with spoon with the loose roll and sticky box combo. We will be back. Cheers!

Good for a pick-up order to take to your favorite spot but not dine in. Some seating outside, limited inside, that feels cramped. For quick sushi, it’s descent quality rolls with good selection.

First of all if it the review was based solely on the quality of food I would probably have given them 4 stars as the food is good, however the quality of service ruined the entire experience. They were unorganized and rude. They refused to accept my debit card saying people with those type of cards often took the food and then took their money back?! It made me feel like they were accusing me of trying to scam or steal from them. I tried to explain that it wasn’t possible for me to take the money back once I made the payment but he refused to listen so I was forced to figure out a different payment. Honestly if it wouldn’t have been for it being so late and my kids being hungry I would have left without food. So we will never be going back.

Absolutely terrible. Some staff were nice while some were rude. I ordered the Island roll and it was bitter, tasted very fishy, and made my stomach hurt a ton. I was only able to eat one piece of sushi because it was so bad. I also ordered the sweet and sour chicken and it was horrid. Tasted worse than trash. Even though it has good ratings it is TERRIBLE!! Would rather get sushi from Safeway. (Definitely the better option)

The food is usually really good except for the last time I ordered 2 lunch specials and they were chicken teriyaki, the chicken was actually a little on the dry side because I think they were precooked since it didn’t take long at all for the order to be out and ready for us to take.
