Me and my friends went to Kotos for their hibachi lunch. Overall the food was delicious and the portion size was good. Our only complaint was the ridiculous gratuity of 18% even with the 10% military discount it didn’t help at all. It was a bit pricy and we were not pleased with our bill.

Did not expect that the sushi would only come with 2 pieces, regarding the fact they are $7.95 per order. One roll of sushi, 2 miso soups and 3 orders of the salmon+yellowtail accounted to around $45. Insane. Would have never purchased if I knew I paying damn near $4 per piece. And honestly wouldn’t be mad if it was great tasting sushi, but honestly calling it mid would be a compliment. Miso soup was bland, I mean I can boil water at home too. Don’t know about the dine-in experience but takeout was very disappointing. I mean there’s just better options at this price point.

Don’t waste your money. You tell me if this is appetizing and worth the final check. Monstrous portions, tasted like yesterday.

We had reservations and had to wait 45 minutes. Also, we had a large party of 13 and the way the hibachi grills are set up, some of our party were not able to see the full performance. The food was ok, but the salad was just thrown in a bowl and smothered in dressing. They over charged us for 2 sodas but was more than happy to remove it from our bill. We had a birthday in our party and it seemed to me it was very loud.

The food: too much butter, sauce, oil…

Had a meal here on my girls birthday and again when family was visiting us. The meal was good and staff was alright but not great. Ordered fried ice cream before leaving though and they forgot about me and my order for a good 20 minutes and no one could help me out so they loose a star for that.

Nice atmosphere with decent food. The chefs are cool and won’t hesitate to joke around with you in a playful way. I got my steak hibachi medium both times and it was cooked just how i like it. Prices are reasonable for a hibachi. For $21, you get rice, noodles, grilled veggies, steak, and a couple of pieces of shrimp. It also includes a cup of salad and a cup of clear soup. Overall, it’s a nice dining experience worth trying.

We usually order from an express Japanese hibachi location to save 1/3 of the cost, but it’s further away and traffic was bad so we tried Koto for takeout. Big mistake.

Simply delightful! Service is on point, discreet but effective. Clean and upbeat house music playing with colors brighting the atmosphere. This place makes you happy from inside out. Bellow you see sashimi appetizer, filet mignon carpaccio. The highlight of the evening was the ‘fantastic tuna’ (giant piece of tuna wrapped w spicy krabmeat, avocado w dive cilantro sauce) paired with Nigori crème de Sake. So delicious!

Let’s be honest. It’s not Kobe but it has its own charm.
