I came here on a Friday night with reservations at the chef’s table. There is no obvious sign outside the restaurant but we found it nonetheless. Although we showed up about 10 minutes early, our seats were ready and waiting for us.

Traveling to NYC for the first time and booked here to try a Michelin-starred omakase restaurant. The attached images were the entire course worth $200 a person. I feel like compared to a lot of other non-Michelin-starred omakase restaurants, there’s not too much special about this one. During a serving, when the waiter mentioned that this was our last course, we all were very surprised since we basically ate like nothing. The sushi was delicious, but there’s still nothing special and we all expected more from this experience. The ending mango sorbet with wasabi didn’t work too well either. All in all, the food wasn’t bad at all but it’s just not worth it for such an expensive price point.

I love it here!!! We did the sushi omakase and the sake tasting. The sake tasting was so cool and they explained each one and even gave us a print out of each sake and their descriptions. The sakes also came in the most beautiful cups I’ve ever seen! The service here was better than anything I’ve experienced in a long time if ever. Highly recommend trying this place – fun for a special occasion!

Always an enjoyable time when coming here. It was a lot busier last night than I’m used to, but that did not take away from the experience. The food was amazing as to be expected and the servers were so attentive which was not surprising but considering how busy they were says a lot about the kosaka team. Paul and Kyle are always so accommodating if you need any last minute changes like changing a sushi piece from the omasake options or maybe you notice the menu is different and something you once ordered is no longer available; their recommendations are on point. Oh and let’s not forget if you ever forget what you had during your last visit….believe me you ask and they will remember. Many thanks to everyone who makes every experience memorable really looking forward to our next visit!

Impressive edomae styled Omakase dinner. Innovative selections on par with most top tier sushi places. Glad to finally eat some sushi in New York. Pair it with some good sake for a superb meal. Lucky to sit in front of the main chef.

My first omakase. It was okay. Not much to say. You can see some pretty photos though.

Phenomenal experience and some of the best sushi of my life. Excellent service and the presentation is like nothing I’ve ever had before. Get the sushi experience with the entire 10-15 or so items as it’s a great way to try all the items.

Solid but not spectacular. Some of the courses in the omakase were just a bit bland or odd flavors. Overall good experience and friendly people. Price was fine. I don’t know why ppl ever complain about pricing for fine dining.

Very creative and varied. They paid careful attention to the non-sushi dishes: the tuna tartare with caviar and the ikura over rice were especially great. The sushi was also amazing, as expected.
