Kopper Kitchen is the most stable thing in my life. I literally grew up in there, and have only ever had 3 different servers over 30+ years. Great menu, good food, lots of healthy options, and the most wonderful people. Everything tastes like nostalgia to me, but some of my favorites:

Decent local place for breakfast and/or lunch. Menu is pretty standard, prices are good.

This is my blast from the past, and it’s still fantastic! The Greek salad will blow your mind!! I swear somehow I think that bowl is bottomless, so when/if you dump it out onto the plate, it grows. The service is always outstanding, just like when Fred was there. I love love love the lentil soup!! The food is always fresh and home cooked. They have a cookbook they sell too

I love this small Mom & Pop type of place. Old yet charming decor and super efficient, attentive, nice waitresses. Food was delivered quickly and was delicious! Very reasonable prices. We will definitely return!

I’ve been eating here for decades. Every time I come visit Florida my first meal of the day is spent here. The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff is top notch. I love everything about Kopper Kitchen, especially the sprouts they put on their sandwiches, so very yummy.

Service is poor. I stopped in a quick lunch at 1:30pm on a Wednesday that ended up taking over an hour. With 3 waitresses spending more time cleaning to close then to wait on customers. It wasn’t busy. However I did get my food fairly quick. $16 for a sandwich, fries and lemonade. I waited for 30 minutes to get a to go box. I was sitting at the closest table to the kitchen and wait station and still had a difficult time getting anyone to stop. I finally stopped a server and went and paid my bill. The tall female cashier with glasses asked how everything’ was and when I told her she snapped back defensively that it’s not a fine dining establishment. It doesn’t matter. Service is a large reason people return back. I’m very dissatisfied and will tell anyone seeking breakfast or lunch to go somewhere else. I don’t plan on returning.

Two words… Old School. Coffee… black, hot, and plenty of it. Good value for breakfast and try the daily specials. Staff always working hard to keep that coffee mug filled and breakfast fare is strong and consistent. We are there 4 times a month.

We only ordered a basic breakfast. The restaurant is bigger on the inside than I thought. The parking lot was very tight for the way it’s set up for the spaces. Lots of space which I like if I was eating in but we did take out. The order was ready when I arrived and I was only right around the corner. The lady at the front was very pleasant and friendly. I liked the personal touch of putting jelly in little cups but it was only enough for half my order of toast. The eggs were done perfectly but the corn beef hash I asked for crispy on one side and it was not. We asked for ketchup for the hash browns we did not receive any. I did like the plastic plate covered with foil instead of styrofoam but the way it was boxed to carry out was awkward and loose for the drive back. The grits were stuck together and cold and as was my Order of bacon (cold). The bacon was very thin and not cooked long enough. I didn’t eat the side of bacon or the other half of the toast because there wasn’t enough jelly. Unfortunately we will still keep looking for a takeout breakfast diner in the Gulfport/Central Ave area.

Best breakfast in town. Veggie Benedict all the way! If you’re looking for home cooking at a good price, this place is a must! Something for everyone, vegetarians included.

Two breakfasts and coffee $28. Bill came to 21. Was overcharged. Waitress received a 75% tip! The one time I did not get a receipt. We liked the breakfast but will not be back to a dishonest business.
