I use to go here when it was Sushi Damu. Have to say I love this place better. The food is great and the presentation is ridiculous, in a good way. The atmosphere is also really nice. Only thing is the booths along the wall are a little small. I took my kid and it was a little uncomfortable for her to sit on my lap while we ate. Other than that everything is great, highly recommend.

I highly recommend this restaurant. We would go to the previous sushi restaurant that was here before for BDays, dinner and lunch often but the service, prices and food changed with COVID. The new owners of this establishment have upgraded with a much nicer ambious. The food and service was exceptional. The owner Ray came to our table a few times to check how we were doing. Very warm . I do recommend that you visit this new establishment you will be pleasantly surprised.

Under new ownership and it’s given this place such a glow up! The servers were wonderful and so attentive. The lighting and decor provided a lovely calming ambiance. The food was incredible! I ordered the Lemon Roll and the spicy Tuna roll. I also tried the beef bone soup. First, that beef bone soup was true soul food and the rolls were so good I forgot about the ginger! That’s a big deal for me because (I know you’re not supposed to) I normally eat my rolls with so much ginger. This is the first time that I completely forgot the ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce existed. Definitely recommend trying the new menu items and experiencing their incredible hospitality.

The food is okay. I wish they didn’t trick you with a very weird menu pricing. I don’t like places where I need to figure out their “deals,” unless it’s spelled out straightforward with no small print or strings attached. But to to their credit, it’s one of the most decent sushi spots in the area. Draft Sapporo served painfully very close to room temperature (96°F outside), so that was disappointing especially when you pay full price.

We finally decided to try this place but was left unexpected food portions smaller than expected for the price that we paid . Taste wasn’t at par with the pricing and I ordered theTonkotsu ramen that never made to the table till after ever everyone finished eating. Disappointed in food timing and quality. Today was my first time at Sushi Damu and it was a great first experience. We didn’t have to wait long to be seated. The staff was very attentive. We had our main waiter and at least 3 others came to ask us if we needed anything. The food came out fast and tasted great. It’s a little far from LA but I would definitely recommend it and definitely going back.

My husband and I loved this place! Today was our first time coming here and we will be coming back. Fish was fresh. Tried cold sake for the first time and it was VERY strong for my taste since I’m not much of a drinker. Rolls were delicious. There are so many options in the menu. We went for the all you can eat sushi that costs about $25 a person. Staff was friendly but when I had questions for them regarding the food they were not very knowledgeable about what the food or drinks tasted like, for example the sake. But other than that we enjoyed our dinner.
