Great food and great service. This is a place that cares about the details. Crayola brand crayons and kids activities on the menu. Games for the family. Food that’s clearly made from scratch instead of frozen and reheated like major chains. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The beef on weck was outstanding.

I took my family to dinner last weekend and we shared the triple bacon cheeseburger, nachos, coconut shrimp, pork chops and sliders. We also enjoyed a few cocktails and a boozy shake, which was out of this world. Everything was really delicious, and our server was very nice and professional. I absolutely love this place, and cannot wait to go back.

Loved the KOP diner vibe, but couldn’t speak to the food until tonight.

This is a hidden gem in KOP!! I love how the service is so quick. It’s a huge, clean restaurant with a big bar. The food is amazing, especially the wings. Highly recommend and more locals need to know about the tavern!

The food there is just OK. Unfortunately, some of the staff is just not good at their job or trained properly. I have no idea how the bartender that worked on Karaoke night was interviewed and deemed suitable to be a bartender anywhere. There were only 10 or 12 people there, and I believe the lack of a good personality behind the bar (and lack of speed, attention to detail, bar skills & lack of good cocktail knowledge) will seal the fate of this place. Sorry not sorry. Interview better & do better or you are doomed!! As a well seasoned member spending 30+ years in all facets of the hospitality industry and an excellent bartender too, it took only about 2 minutes to be aware of these things. I’m guessing that a better manager would be a good thing for this place too.

I never felt so ripped off as I did after paying $35 for the What the Cluck sandwich that was billed as being this gigantic 3 chicken breast sandwich. It was more like 1 breast cut up and pounded thin and it looked like a regular old sandwich. The cheesesteak sandwich was as big or bigger for more than half the price. We ordered it for two people but it was really for one. The chicken was also rubbery/spongy, my wife had to spit out a couple of pieces, she barely ate any. The staff had a hard time keeping up. They brought out food late and food we didn’t order.

The restaurant is beautifully done. Sparkling, clean, pleasant atmosphere. The burger was quite good. However, the eggs benedict left a bit to be desired. Eggs were watery and the hollandaise was not luxurious as it should be but thin and didn’t coat the eggs well at all. The biggest shock was when we got the check only to see that the latte and cappuccinos we ordered were $7.50 each. The coffees were decent, nothing special and seriously overpriced. Never have we ever, even in higher end restaurants paid $7.50 for a cup of coffee, let alone one that was just average. Truly disappointing.

I went there for a friend’s retirement party. It was my first time there and found it to be a nice place. Nice local beer selection, and though I myself didn’t have any food, those folks that did said it was good. It was really noisy due to the crowd and live band. I feel the place is too small for a live band, but I’m sure others may disagree. Overall it was a nice experience.

Excellent food and service. The small nuances are important here. Kids’ activities and crayons of the Crayola brand are available. Family-friendly games. Clearly homemade food as opposed to frozen and reheated items like huge restaurants. Everyone had a good time eating. Excellent beef was served on weck.

Why do I do this to myself? I told myself never again. I live in kop the options are endless for eating out. Once again coming to this place. The staff is rude and they cannot hire good quality help. Sat down with my family was completely ignored. We got up and left never again. The food is not even good. And the prices are to high for crappie food. We miss Michael’s Deli. All my friends tell me how bad this place is I just have to learn the hard way.
