The chicken (cats) and broccoli was pretty good if you don’t focus on the fact that there is no way this meat is chicken. The lo mein was gross! Totally stuck together and dried out. The spring rolls were OKAY. If I hadn’t gotten the 40% off plus 2 for one – I would have been mad. Most of these Chinese places are horrible.

I’ve been door-dashing from here for the pst few days during my son’s stay in the hospital here at Scottish Rite. This food has brought us so much freaking comfort. Ordered on Grubhub from “Kong’s Vegetarian” and got onion rings and a vegan house fried rice with brown rice. The fried rice was SO bad. It was bland, the rice was basically undercooked and the fake shrimp was just such a weird texture, I couldn’t eat any of it even after dousing the whole thing in extra soy sauce and vinegar.

Why do we continue to eat Chinese food? I ordered beef fried rice. Where’s the beef? It didn’t look like beef nor did it taste like beef. The rice seemed to be seasoned with only black pepper. The food was average.

I ordered on Ubereats, my delivery was great and the food tastes good but when I called the restaurant trying to change the rice on my order the lady that answered the phone was extremely rude and not willing to help at all. She told me it was already made but of course the restaurant always has the white rice already made it could have easily been switched out for fried rice. I ordered the black pepper chicken dinner combo, it came with chicken and corn soup which that is the only thing that’s not good.

If I could give them no stars I would. After a long day of moving. I decided to order Kong’s Kitchen for a total of $57. I ordered the fried rice, general tso chicken, spring rolls, beef and broccoli, and beef fried rice.

No idea why this place has such low reviews. I always order late night takeout from Kong’s Kitchen and it never disappoints! Their lo mein is SO good, their crab rangoons could have a bit more filling in them but overall the food is delicious. Always fast service too!

There are too many GREAT Chinese food places in Atlanta to go here and get disrespected! The black lady that works the register, whose ugly picture is on the glass, for some reason does not greet ANYONE, unless you’re a woman; and even then, it’s still a maybe. She is the primary reason for this review and why I will always, from now on, go across the street to Su’s. The food is of better quality anyways, just tricky parking at night. But the black woman who is ALWAYS at Kong’s Kitchen is intentionally rude. As I walked out, I saw her at least murmur to the woman who was next in line. She literally just looks at me, makes direct eye contact, and says absolutely nothing. It’s embarrassing that anyone would leave their restaurant in the hands of a person like that. And where there’s smoke, there’s fire. If you don’t care about someone that rude running your establishment, what else don’t you care about??

I’m trying to figure out how in the hell this place has on a 3.2 rating !? Like I literally went against the grain and came to give a raving review because of how good their food is. Like EVERY SINGLE TIME ! They have not missed with ME so I’m definitely gonna stand besid’em. I’ve had them like 5 times now and no other Chinese restaurant comes close. It’s like I know whatever I order it’s gonna slap. I’ll add photos next time. I done ate it all now. And yes, it still taste bomb the next day.
