The service was great, everyone was helpful, and they were able to seat us quickly. Keep in mind if you order the bridge it might take slighter longer than the rest of your food. All in all the sushi is delicious.

Sushi is great! Chirashi is a little different than what i thought it looked and taste more like poki bowl with 3 kind of fish only but tons of salad between fish and rice. Its more like korean style i think it still tasted good, just it is not a japanese style of chirashi bowl.

This place is so good. Stopped by for their bento box promo and it’s a great variety of options in the box. Everything tasted fresh and it’s a great balance of rice to other ingredients. The establishment it’s self is very clean and the staff was super friendly. We were given a complimentary baked salmon roll (not pictured) and it was stacked with delicious salmon.

Very friendly staff! It’s my first time here and I ordered the Basic Salmon Roll. I eat a lot of sushi and dam the fish was fresh. The miso soup was really good aswell. Highly recommend going here the place is nice and clean.

yesterday Friday, went to Daiso but it was closed for some kind of construction. However, I found this new sushi joint which used to be poke spot. Chicken teriyaki Bent came with so much and variety of food in it. Also, I had funky lango roll and it was SUPERB!! 2 up!! This is going to be my favorite spot for Japanese/Sushi spot. By the way all rolls are 15% right now!!

I was craving sushi, and so while I was in Monterey Park area, I came across Kokoro. I was greeted by a very nice lady who took me to my table. She was very sweet, and as she brought me me my menu; I was delighted by all the delicious items offered on the menu . The noodles and various sushi items really added to my appetite. I chose to feast on noodles Odon including sushi . My server advised me that this may be a bit too much food & politely advised the bento box instead. I chose the bento box consisting of salmon, tempura & steamed rice . I was happy to take her advice as this scrumptious delight proved to be more than I could handle. I even took some home. I also tried this green ice cream desert, which was & added delight. I thanked her & her gifted cooks who prepared my scrumptious dinner. I left feeling satisfied & . If you want a place with a pleasant atmosphere, spacious dining area for family & friends ,good service & amazing Japanese food with reasonable prices, come on, down to Kokoro, you won’t be sorry!!

Initially excited about this restaurant for its high review on Yelp. But….. Below-average sushi and rolls, plus slow service. The presentation is good though. We got a Bridge combo with sushi, sashimi, and chef-choice rolls. It took about 40 minutes before it came out, and the restaurant was not busy. Maybe 4-5 tables were filled. I worried “chef’s choice” meant “what’s leftover and need to be served soon,” and it did feel that way when I finally tried the food. Nothing special was served. Some deep-fried California rolls (my least fav) were all too soft and mushy in texture. Spicy tuna rolls were not fresh and not tasty, and some crunch roll which was not too bad. I won’t return.
