Gold Canyon is fortunate to have a restaurant of this caliber among the picturesque Superstition Mountain foothills. Beautiful surroundings, elegant menu choices, and efficient service. The dining room is open only on specific days, so check before going. The views from the floor-to-ceiling windows are lovely.

This is a high end priced place with a low end output. They were under staffed, under qualified and excuse oriented place of business. I ordered a $41 filet medium, was about right. My friend ordered same which came out very rare. Staff was nice enough but very slow. Not sure where the problem lies but I don’t think I will be back.

We keep coming back in hopes it will be better the next time. It’s really disappointing, it’s such a beautiful place to eat but the service is terrible. The food could be better. They need to hire servers for the restaurant. It took 45 minutes just to get our drinks and appetizers. Why is a Golf, Resort and spa using paper menus?

Food was excellent…when we got it. Had to ask if we had a waitress. Ask why people who were seated waaay after us were served waaay before us. Salad came out with meal. Had to ask for utensils to eat with. And were never offered a refill on drinks. For the price I expect MUCH better service. Very sad. Great place when the service is at least average. This was not

Just a beautiful evening at Kokopellis! I had the scallops! To die for! Exploding with flavor and just the right amount of veggies and on a bed of risotto! The view was gorgeous and the staff was very helpful and our server was so kind and attentive to our needs. I’m going back for sure! What an experience. Highly recommend!
