So I can’t rave about this place enough. The IG ads got me with the presentation but as you well know, if it’s pretty but vacuous it’s not really worth it. I can say Koko Ni is substance and style. Not to be too high brow, but this type of food is rare in Denver. Imaginative, beautiful and excellent produce. The person serving us was attentive yet unobtrusive, and because we got the 13 plate tasting menu at the bar, we were treated like royalty by the chefs.

I don’t think I could have chosen a better place for my foodie for his birthday. The chef’s counter was a wonderful experience and the whole team was very sweet, fun, and attentive. Everything from the food to the well place Knick knacks seems intentional and meant to create a calm, sophisticated atmosphere. They also let me know they are willing to work with you to accommodate dietary restrictions for your party if you need. Absolutely worth the price.

The Chef’s Counter experience was without a doubt the single best meal I’ve had in Denver! It was a 3 hour experience with 13 dishes and wine pairings. Every single bite was simply perfect. Yes, the dishes are very small, but there a lots of them and by the last course, I was absolutely stuffed.

One of the most unique, understated, creative, delicious and surprising restaurant I have been to. The food is light, flavorful, inventive. The service is fantastic and the decor matches it all! I definitely recommend going there. Parking is a little tough, so plan accordingly.

High brow food in location/vibe that is accessible to all. We did the 10 course omakase, I was afraid I wouldn’t like a few of the bites but every single one was delicious. Service was attentive and very personal. Dishes were exciting and cohesive, nothing was superfluous and every ingredient made sense. Not pretentious at all, but could impress your pretentious friends. I’d love to come back when I’m back in the area.

Had the 10 course tasting menu with cocktail pairing. It was AMAZING!!! would have done 5 stars but they were burning incense which made some of the food taste like incense. Also had to shower when I got home because my skin smelled. I would much rather have smelled the delicious cooking aromas!!

What an incredible experience. The chef table 13 course meal was an amazing experience. The entire restaurant staff is involved in assuring the diner has the most pleasurable experience possible. Seeing them work as a team was such a treat. Being able to interact directly with Chef James, Adam and Kyle made it quite unique. The food was absolutely delicious, with so much care taken in curating and presenting each detail of each dish. Hearing about those details directly from them made the dinner so much more than a meal. 12/10 Experience, will definitely return on our next visit to Denver!
