Came from out of state for a weekend with family, was referred to this place for dinner. Waitress was very pleasant thank god for that. You will see why I said that as you continue to read. The food was not so great most everyone in my party had issues with the food. One meal had absolutely no flavor but extremely spicy it couldn’t be eaten, when we told the manager she seemed to blame our waitress which was not her fault, not professional to do in front of customers. if you ask me it’s the cooks fault. One of my family members ordered the boneless ribs they were over cooked ugh! the noodles that come as complimentary duck sauce was very sweet. Again ugh! Needless to say we’ll never be back. the dish that was too spicy was replaced, though I’m sure the manager wasn’t happy about that she did correct it. The atmosphere was stunning, they have a large window in the dinning area with a most beautiful waterfall. I will say they were very kind as far as being handicapped accessible.

Good atmosphete and amazing view from the window seats and deck. Sushi was pretty good, just know that ordering the expensive rolls were still normal sized. Many places they are huge. Just something to be aware of when you order an $18 roll. Otherwise they were good.

The nicest restaurant in Peterborough. Amazing waterfall view from the dining room and amazing food. Fresh seafood and delicious mixed drinks. Great for any occasion. Extremely friendly staff and great service.

Beautiful ambiance for the price point, I was a bit awe struck as we were seated because the view and natural lighting are really lovely. We arrived before lunch and scored a table right by the windows. Service was prompt and courteous and water refills were on point. My party shared an assortment of sashimi and maki and everything was excellent in taste, freshness, and quality. Nice attention to detail with presentation. Check for party of 3 was about $100 + tip which is the average we spend on a sushi dinner, the menu had enough options for us at various price points. I left very satisfied and look forward to returning and enjoying Kogetsu’s lovely atmosphere again soon.

This place is amazing, I’ve been coming here for quite some time and always thought the food was really good. I recently chatted with the owner and realized everything is from scratch. That explains why everything is so delicious. The main reason I had been coming here was in the summertime they have an incredible patio that overlooks a waterfall. Whenever I had company visiting from out of town I would take them here and they were always impressed. Sushi is a must have. Highly recommend this place

Based on the reviews I was expecting great things, but was extremely let down by this restaurant. Our server appeared annoyed and lacked interpersonal skills. That aside, the food was no better. Pork friend rice was white rice with a slash of soy? No meat, no vegetables, and overcooked. We also got a poopoo platter, and it was greasy and subpar. For what we paid, it will be our first and last time there.

I hate leaving bad reviews, especially for restaurants, as we’ve both worked in the industry and we get it. However, we’ve tried SO hard to like this place. It’s the only Chinese place in the area, so it’s the only option if it’s what you’re craving. Every single time, we’ve been disappointed. Last night was the last straw. We got takeout, and decided to try and see if maybe their Thai was better than the Chinese. The pad thai was a congealed whitish grey mass, with no flavor whatsoever (I wouldnt quite say this is better than bad flavor, because the look of it was incredibly unappetizing) – not a vegetable or sauce in sight. Just a big clump of way overcooked noodles with some stale peanuts sprinkled on top, in an epic display of laziness and carelessness. I have honestly never been served worse food in my life. It’s obvious they do not care about the food they’re making, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
