My family and I have greatly enjoyed eating here the couple of times we’ve been here. The food is great. Just as good as Hibachi with a better atmosphere with larger portions for the price. Wish they had more business because they deserve it. Strongly recommend going here.

Kobe is a average place to eat. The sushi there is not quite the best but not worst, mostly because the rice is under-prepared. The sushi is chewier than normal but the cost is on par with higher end sushi bars. The sushi chef is young and does not have the skills of other sushi chefs i have experienced. The food is presented average, not very much attention to the look of the food. The inside is set up very professionally, Kobe also has a full bar inside! Service is very good, friendly staff and overall A great experience.

This place is a hidden jem! The hospitality is great and their service is quick. I had the their sushi lunch special with hibachi squid. Their philly roll was sooooo creamy and the spicy tuna was a bit chewy but with a little bit of crunch. So delicious! The hibachi was a little under seasoned but very well cooked. The squid was not chewy at all it was actually tender. I finished off the meal with some green tea mochi ice cream and was a great to finish meal. Just the right amount of sweetness. This is great place for sushi in the area. Don’t miss it. Dinner does look a little pricey but the lunch is reasonable in price.

Gave it one star only because the decor was nice! After being seated and given our drinks by a random server who informed us that our server would be right over we sat for atleast 10 to 15 mins and not a soul approached and ask for our order. We had both ordered Arnold palmers and at first sip I knew something was wrong. The beverage tasted like it had soured. I will not be returning! If I want hibachi cuisine I’ll make the trip to Jacksonville for Shoguns!

This is the only place in Kinston, NC that called my attention, and the food was very good. I had the combination steak and shrimp platter, which included soup and salad. I’d say, if you’re visiting the area and need food, this is a good bet.
