We eat here often. Last time they forgot olives. This time they did again. This is a $5 slice of pizza? Supposed to have extra cheese and olives. Other pic is my partner’s slice.

Had such a bummer experience here last Thursday evening. 🙁 After waiting 25 minutes for our pizza, we were told that it had ripped and that they needed to start over. While I completely understand that accidents happen and pizzas rip, we waited 50 minutes total for our food and there was no attempt to make the situation right. This was an opportunity for Knox Pizza to turn us into repeat customers, if they had used this mishap to show excellent customer service, maybe by offering a free side salad while we waited another 25 minutes, or even just a free extra topping on our pizza or coupon for next time…just something to make it right. The pizza is tasty but the staff does not understand customer service. 🙁

We’re visiting from Houston and came here after leaving another pizza establishment because they didn’t offer dine-in. Ordered a 20″ pizza and garlic cheese bread. Tried to order 2 fountain drinks/ tea (both on the menu) and was told they have neither. I asked for 2 waters instead. My husband ordered a tap beer. When the guy went to pour the beer, he said “oh sorry man. We’re out of that one.” My husband asked what they did have and he gave 1 option, so my husband took it. We sat down and the guy made the pizza and then came from behind the counter and was lollygagging because another employee came in. The other employee asked if the garlic bread was made and they had a “confrontation” about who needs to do their job. Language that I’d prefer my children not hear in an establishment was used. After paying and waiting a normal amount if time, the pizza came out. The garlic bread came out 5 minutes later. At this point, my husband already drank his beer and we were still waiting on water. We were also charged for 2 cokes, that we didn’t ask for. The pizza was good. After reading more reviews, I agree with others. The guys working seem like they’re just here to hang out.

It took them 45 minutes to prepare 3 slices of pizza. When my pizza slices were finally ready, they were way over cooked and I had to wait another 10 minutes to get unburned mediocre slices.

I primarily dine-in and when I do, I typically order two slices of plain cheese pizza and their fried mushrooms with a side of ranch. Their excellent spice rack station includes garlic powder, crushed red pepper flakes, parmesan cheese flakes, honey, and interesting hot sauces that I’ve yet to try! I carried-out for the first time last-night. I ordered two slices of cheese pizza and two orders of fried mushrooms each with a side of ranch. While I appreciate how they neatly prepared and wrapped the order up for me, the cheese pizza slices didn’t taste fresh or there was something about them that lacked flavor. Perhaps their sauce just isn’t robust enough… I’ve noticed that the cheese pizza slices lacked flavor and freshness a few times when I’ve dined-in. As for the two orders of fried mushrooms, they lacked flavor which is strange because they usually do have a good amount of flavor to them when I dine-in. I had to basically drown them in the ranch and lost my appetite before I could eat the second order of bland fried mushrooms. All in all this a decent pizza restaurant. The lack of consistency in flavor brings down my rating for this restaurant, but they do have a ton of potential for improvement.

Cool little corner find. If you’re looking for a neighborhood gem, look no more. Slices, full pizzas, salads, cold beers, wings, margaritas, and more. It’s worth checking out.

The food was good. And if you wanted to grab a quick slice or some pizza to go im sure they are good for that. However. There was a lot about both the open kitchen, the dinning room, and staff that fell short of idea.

I went to grab slices on a Friday night like I normally do and was told they were too busy to make the slices. I have sent countless people to this restaurant and time after time I am disappointed with the lack of effort this place puts in for its customers.

If the rating would allow, I would have given it 4 & 1/2 stars. The pizza was pretty good, the guy at the counter gave friendly service, and the place was cozy. I just wish there were more dark beer selections on tap when I visited. It just seems like everywhere you go these days there are about 7 IPAs and a lager to choose from. What happened to all the stouts, porters, and Malty offerings?

We stayed and ate our pizza and that was our big mistake. To be clear, the pizza was good, but the way the business is being run is questionable. It looked like the oldest person working there at the time was maybe 18 which isn’t an issue in itself. However, throughout our time in the restaurant several older teenagers entered the store and freely walked into the kitchen. They weren’t working there they were just hanging out with their friends that were working there. It was just a group on teenagers hanging out in a kitchen where food is being prepared for customers. We also realized that the soap dispenser was broken in the bathroom and watched two employees use that bathroom. I’m not sure how they employees were washing their hands. I felt less and less comfortable eating our pizza as we watched everything unfold.
