Great food at this poolside cafe at the JW Marriott, especially the fresh salads. Glad to have some Premier League and NFL on the TVs above the bar. Solid wine and beverage selections, including the Grande Lakes Colada, with its big splash of rum.

Ordered a well done, single patty cheese burger to-go back to my room. Immediately noticed shape of burger was preformed and frozen. Lacked flavor and two onion slices were so thin they might as well have not been included. Burger was undercooked so I only ate around the very edges. Would not recommend a burger- from Knife Burger! Fries were good but no salt or pepper included with my to-go order and don’t have salt or pepper in my room. Overall, disappointing.

The food wasn’t very good (Brisket nachos especially) & the flies were everywhere. 2 of the 3 dinner entrees were incorrect & had to be re-made. The server forgot to bring requested condiments the entire meal. Flies were all over our food the entire time & the server stated that the flies love the Brisket Nachos with a grin, as he was removing our plates. That would have been great to know before ordering b/c we wouldn’t have ordered them, nor wasted our money on them. You’d think that they’d invest in fly deterrents for the tables, as everyone ordering food was swatting away flies. I’d highly suggest avoiding this place unless you’re getting a drink from the bar, as I wouldn’t recommend the food or service. Absolute waste of money.

Was told it would be 1.5-2 hours to be served an order of chips and guacamole at the bar. Not a hot meal. A basket of chips and a (almost certainly pre-made) scoop of guacamole.

Overcrowded, overpriced and extremely long wait time. It’s ridiculous that you have to wait over an hour for a kids grilled cheese sandwich. I expected way more from a place located at JW.

The smokey, flame grilled burger is one of the best Ive ever had. The burgers are so good that my 6 year old wants to vacation at JW Marriott just to have the burger.

Nice spot for a casual lunch. Service was really good and the food was great. Its really the only casual spot for lunch at the JW. Keep and eye weather, especially wind. All seating is outdoor so the wind and crows are a challenge.
